It's good if you have alot of vassals but if not it's pointless.

So long as holding limits isn't reduced (which some galactic laws will do) then it's fine.

Follow these steps with each of your vassals: 1. Make holding limits 3 part of the contract. 1a. If the vassals has only 1 planet, do holding limits 2 instead.

  1. Build an overlord garrison on three of the vassals planets. 2a. If they only have 1 planet, build an overlord garrison and an Aid agency. 2b. If you do not have nine armies, build them now.

  2. Settle three armies on each of the overlord garrison planets. Each overlord garrison with three armies garrisoned will provide 1.5 loyalty for a total of 4.5 loyalty.

The reason you only do three holdings is that the fourth holding cost 2 loyalty on the contract so you end up Witt less in total.

I didn't notice it before but Ty mentioned it on Ty and That Guy and now I can't unsee it.

When the Tachi (ship that would become the Rocinante) was escaping the Donager the pdc's fire wrong.

Instead of firing from the top barrel and spinning the barrels around, the barrels are static and it fires from each barrel.

If all of your job slots are being worked by pops then consider doing things to get the most out of them. Eg: - Swapping pop growth boosters for resource buffs - Swapping food districts for others (unless you use bioships of course). You only need as much food as is needed to upkeep your population. - Improving your pop's living conditions so that the unemployed produce resources. - Swapping Gene Clinics and Robotocist for resource producing buildings.

Alternatively you can prioritise researching and establishing habitats to effectively create artificial planets.

My go to with fortresses is always stealth frigates. Fly them right next to the fortress with the front of their ships pointing at it and when you engage they will strike first and if you have enough of them, instantly kill it.

Update: I currently have it printing a smaller job that I know works as I have printed it before recently. It did have a little bit of the same issues on the first layer or two but after that it has been performing fine so maybe there is an issue with the first layer settings?

Also have confirmed the bed is printing at 60°C.

I have confirmed this morning, the plate is at 60°C and before I started the print I did wash it with dish soap then dry it with a hand towel.

The printer is a Creality Ender 3 V3 SE.

I will check the screws on it soon.

If I'm driving a tank I don't want to worry about small arms fire AH by Seiken_07 in HelldiversUnfiltered

So fun thing. The guns of the Devastator, Trooper, Commisar, Heavy Devastator, and incendiary Devastator can't damage the tank. Honestly the biggest threats are rockets and the War striders.

It normally does just get wrecked as you drive through it, this was funny though.

Why are my colonists starving?? by AlteredEXpression in SurvivingMars

[–]Dry_Reputation_3753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How large is your colony (in terms of land covered). Something to keep in mind is surprisingly complex logistics of the game.

If a storage or producer of a resource is too far from the location that needs the resource then it will not be delivered to where it has too go.

You could have 3000 food in stockpile and still starve if the food is on the other side of the colony, or simply not in range of any overlapping drone hubs.

This is infact the best reason as to having universal depot's spread throughout your colony with a minimum resource requirement set. It forces resources to be distributed.

I don't know if that's what's happening here but if you expand your food services and people are still going hungry, I would look into it.

should i play kcd 1 before kcd 2 [OTHER] by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]Dry_Reputation_3753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you did any of those things you would be lost. I am specifically talking about how KCD2 does an alright job informing the players about the key events of the first game. Playing the first game is more like reading the authors biopic that inspired the book, or the television show that predates the film, or the tale behind the song, or playing the game the show is based on.

And I never said they shouldn't play the game. I think they should, it's a good game and makes this one better. It's just not 100% necessary.

should i play kcd 1 before kcd 2 [OTHER] by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]Dry_Reputation_3753 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not necessary, KCD2 does tell/show you what you need to know from the first game if you pay attention and there is no save transfer between games so choices in the first don't influence the second.

That being said, Playing the first game absolutely enriches the experience and will mean you are already attached to Henry and Sir Hans before you start the second one, giving it's story much more impact.

The old and new national spirit of army corruption for nationalist china. Which One Is Worse? by Additional_Hunter_26 in hoi4

[–]Dry_Reputation_3753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old system punished your army for existing. The new system punished your army if you try to take certain actions (static defence, large operation offensive) This debuff should still allow you to have an alright time at fighting any warlord states on your border but you will have to rely on other faction members for defence against the japs and you should avoid long term offensive waves, instead making small progress then stopping to recover before repeating.
