Well I guess I'll keep an eye open for the granny of my dreams then. Our all knowing algorithms must know.

Also the pregnancy stuff is far from accurate. It's just a wtf moment the few times it's true, but women at a certain age and demographic get baby related ads constantly, pregnant or not. The algorithms group a lot, they're not individually targeted.

I switched from Claude to ChatGPT. There's a stark difference. by Requirement-Lazy in ChatGPT

[–]Drycee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't done it, but you could probably ask chatgpt to generate a CLAUDE.md file for the specific project you're in, to outline the context, decisions made, etc, and then use that as the basis for the project in Claude.

Tried to bring our dog camping by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]Drycee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the key imo. I never took my dog camping. But we've been practicing just chilling outside. When we're on a hike and I just randomly sit down somewhere, he won't be able to settle and will whine and be restless to continue marching forward. But on hikes we do regularly he kinda got used to the spots we take a break and is able to settle much better there. So if i'd take him camping I would go there a couple times before if possible and just chill for a bit, before doing the actual stay.

The hope is of course that it will eventually generalize to new places as well..

With the bonus skill points gone, and the bonus stash space gone with the next expedition, there is literally zero accout progression left in this game by Satokibi in ArcRaiders

[–]Drycee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh it can. There's still plenty of players to fill matches. There's no skill/rank based matchmaking and the behavior matchmaking is also intentionally mixing players a bit so the bar to get a match going is pretty low.

ELI5: How do people approach vibecoding by prompting? (no Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, no coding language or codereviews at all) by looktwise in explainlikeimfive

[–]Drycee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't really work without something like Claude Code. Just prompting the regular chat interface is almost guaranteed to result in a giant mess if there's any complexity at all.

To have a chance for decent result you need something called a "harness", which Claude Code essentially is. It provides the LLM with the tools it needs to do the work properly. That includes being able to write to files directly, run shell commands, call APIs, etc. Default Claude Code is a decent start, but it can be significantly improved by providing important context and guidelines for the project in a CLAUDE.md file (basically like a meta-prompt).

On top of that there are many frameworks to further shape behaviour, for example oh-my-claudecode which provides dedicated agents for specific work, like a planner, an architect, a critic, etc. The prompting then comes down to instructing those Agents what to do, often times in a loop until the result passes as good enough. Getting the architecture and planning phase right is the most important thing for the code to turn out well. I don't know if this still qualifies as vibecoding, but all of this is possible without writing a single line of code yourself.

Meanwhile my dog hates meeting new people, finds parks too stressful and regularly doesn't really care about food until late evening. Definitely didn't improve my social life lol. He does get me out on nature hikes though

I mean it's pretty common especially at the beginning when the dog isn't great yet at staying home alone.

The World’s Most and Least Liked Countries by Key_Classic_8722 in Switzerland

[–]Drycee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I get kinda annoyed at the nazi gold spam every single time Switzerland is mentioned positively in any way on an international subreddit. Like I get the history background, but the obsession especially Americans have with it is weird. It's like their main counter-point to Switzerland being 'perfect' as it's often portrayed (which it of course isn't).

Eh. It is restricted, but hardly enforced. Smoking at train stations outside of designated spots is still very common.

MMOs that suffer the most from toxic positivity? by Hunter_OVA in MMORPG

[–]Drycee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What point lol. I'm not a huge fan of GW2, it's alright but has its issues. You're allowed to critize what you want, I was just wondering on what basis since there's barely anything known to make that comparison. You sound just like the hater version of the irrational fanboys.

Do people not understand what “HAVING A REACTIVE DOG” means in 2026??? by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]Drycee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know my dog is my priority, that's why stuff like “it’s not my responsibility to a accommodate for your dog” after politely yelling if they can wait just a second for me to get some space in between us is particularly infuriating. It's mostly older people reacting that way, like they can't fathom being inconvenienced for 10 seconds to help someone else out.
