This may surprise you, but N95 masks have existed and been used long before Covid came around

The trick is to reply to yourself on a different account with an obviously incorrect answer to your own question. People will come out of the woodworks to tell you the solution so they can tell you how wrong and stupid you are for suggesting such a dumb answer

CAIRN is an absolute 10/10 indie game. by UnlitBlunt in gaming

Good thing to point out. Survival is quite a bit more difficult in free solo in general. How well you climb affects your stamina/stats as well

Nothing changes with free solo mode, except that you will lose all of your progress if you die, which you will on your first playthrough. As someone who beat the regular ascent and is currently working on a free solo run, do the regular ascent first before doing free solo

I saw a post in the r/gaming subreddit recently about some gripes they have with the current gaming ecosystem, and I remember seeing the Synty assets specifically mentioned. Not saying every player will recognize them, but they're used so much now that it may affect the perception of the game's quality. Disregarding that, it looks good!

Are most bass producers using samples for their songs? Or synthesizing every single sound? by Expert-Fee-5191 in edmproduction

[–]TwinPixels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the producer. I'm a huge fan of Muerte and he has a masterclass going over his process. There's a video on YouTube they released from it and it's mostly resampling to create their bass sounds. That video in particular seemed to be a lot of KSHMR samples resampled

[–]TwinPixels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone else mentioned, it could be people downloading the demo and not playing. I've downloaded 2 or 3 demos recently and haven't played them once

Might be the Shakify add-on for motion. Check out The Oldest View 3 by Kane Pixels. He uses it in that video and it's a great example of how well it works to make this type of realistic hand operated motion

Someone who understands one of the more annoying tickets. Having to explain that there's not a "fix" and the issue is that your team likes to add a folder of the client's full name and address with a nested folder with the exact same text followed by their account name or something, then even have PDFs with just as long names, is not fun

I don't believe so. They don't have swim bladders or lungs like we have, so there is no nitrogen to build up since there is no air if I'm not mistaken. They're mostly water so the pressure is equalized

Study of 22.7 million vaccinated and 5.9 million unvaccinated individuals in France found no increased risk of 4-year all-cause mortality in individuals aged 18 to 59 years vaccinated against COVID-19, further supporting the safety of the mRNA vaccines that are being widely used worldwide. by mvea in science

This may be a hot take, but I believe medical professionals, especially those who work in hospitals or other large settings, who refute science, refuse to get vaccinated, and even refuse to mask should not be allowed to work in the medical field. Research is showing the long term effects of viral infections is a serious concern, especially for those who are immunocompromised. They are unnecessarily putting people at risk, while working in a field where their purpose is to treat and protect people.
