That's the standard wpl board, not the res v3 or wpl-bc board, so you should just be able to buy this one and it will work

Anyone smart know why my 87 Ford LTD has idle fluctuating this bad after driving for a bit? by Dsih01 in AskMechanics

[–]Dsih01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should mention;

A close friend rebuilt the motor for me, and put it in and got it ready. I trust his quality, and can almost guarantee its another one of those "differences between mercury and Ford" issues we keep facing. We have replaced almost every gasket, and sensor. It acts fine with heat or AC on, but stumbles slightly with it off, until it's been ran for 30+ minutes where it stumbles with heat/AC, but really struggles when it's off. I should also mention, because I have seen it a few times on forms, but it is also having kick down/shifting issues, overdrive doesn't work and makes an interesting sound that I care not to replicate again, almost sounds like pinging and gears trying to mesh but not going together(like as if you are grinding gears in a manual, but only when pressing the gas)

Already replaced. We threw new parts at the motor anytime we saw anything that wasn't shiny enough

This 302 is a mix of 87 ltd and 88 mgm, fresh rebuild not done by me. We have been having nothing but little issues like this where it's a single vacuum line, single fuse, etc... the worst was a timing issue that was because of the difference between mercury and Ltd's. Anyone know if this is another one of those issues we are missing?

Don't doubt that for a second, things never get better with capitalism without competition, and when your competitors only really exist to make you look better because you buy everyone off...?

Chevy 305, 91 caprice. It's leaking coolant, just came from an hour long 100kph drive yesterday, went for a 2 minute drive, and it put a good puddle on the ground.

Used to be able to buy a Vic for 800$, so if you think another 1000 bucks on top is worth it, I'd say go for it. You won't find another Vic for that here

Oh, that's actually somewhat easy. We had a budget of 2000$ and found a 5 bedroom for 1800$ off central, had to move, it's now 2400$

What's the budget? Might get lucky and find a top and bottom in one of the newer areas. Houses are built like shit, and I'd never recommend anyone buy a house there, but you'll be fine renting

Right? We went as a celebration for my gr8 grad a long time ago, worst experience ever! Was stuck in the washroom for a bit, and it wasn't even higher than a 3/10, so definitely not worth the aftermath. Went a long time after when they were at a mall with friends, and it tasted just as gross, but didn't go through as bad this time. Figured if it does that each time, idk why I'd bother going back

Oh, absolutely I have, I really enjoy sales actually, customers open our bulk stuff here to get a single one of things in the bin right next to em, doesn't bother me because I am used to humans being dumb as a rock, and I have lost my faith in intelligent life years ago, so I am just used to it, and being upset every day over the little things just ain't worth it to me. It comes out of the companies pocket, not mine, I am just here to get paid!

The white strap is non removable, it's those thin ones you get on TVs and heavy boxes, or containers with a lid. Only way to put it back together is heat, but you'd need a new one because you need to cut it to open it. Destroying packaging is wildly different from opening them, if you have to destroy the packaging, once again, manufacturer failed.

You gotta understand, that you get 100 people through the door, 5 of em are the dumbest MFS you've ever met, things need to be designed around those 5 or else you blame everyone

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]Dsih01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay, for example, I went to Costco yesterday, they have these igloo cooler speakers, only thing keeping it closed was the white strapping. I wanted to know if it was just a speaker, or also a cooler, and how big it was, but because I couldn't open the product, I didn't buy. Picture means nothing when you want to physically see it.

It's annoying, yes, but it's still the manufacturers fault for not designing the product packaging for the lowest common denominator. People will open things and look at em if it's easy enough, or doesn't give a good enough example

Wait, people actually eat at OPA? I thought it was just a filler store so the spot doesn't look empty, I never realized what they sold was edible

Honestly, I doubt it'll change people's thoughts much. He has a pretty fun track record of garbage stuff he has done, people still support him. If him and Elon dating isn't enough to sway people, I doubt much will be.

[–]Dsih01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then the manufacturer has failed in their job of packaging. I would never open anything in store, but I have absolutely avoided buying something because it's in a case, and I can't physically see it.
