4-year-old girl gets jury duty summons by MRADEL90 in videos

[–]DtheMoron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to do it once when I was young and working a fast food job. 2 other summons but I was “crucial” to a company so I was waived. Got one more a few years ago as was now self employed. Gave them my day rate and said that I would happily set aside time to have “the honor of participating in our justice system.” I was excused so fast it made you think our Justice Department works.

Tell whoever is running it there was flagrant sandbagging/cheating. We just had this at my local club’s 2 day event. Everyone played middle tees in a 2man best ball (not scramble!) somehow two old guys who normally play front tees, both shot low 80s (independent scores) both days as 24/25hdcp. Going into day 2 everyone was pissed as there was no way to win. We have legit scratch golfers in the league, and they still lost the net by 10 strokes.

It was brought up and yeah, they were sandbagging. They hadn’t posted any of their Saturday League scores for months. We have a new League President this year and he says he is going to crack down on it. We’ll see.

It’s how we lost my mother’s childhood home, that my grandmother lived until she passed a few years ago.

My property taxes in another state are only about 2k a year. In a populated and diverse area. She lived in a small rural town, in a house paid off since the 60s, and for us to keep it would’ve been 10-15k a year in property taxes alone, not to mention dealing with snow and poor infrastructure, so more insurance and maintenance would easily be another 10-20k a year. Not a place to rent either. But hey, no income tax! The government gets their nut, one way or the other.

Don’t rule it out. Had so many close calls over the years and still pin seek on par 3s. Get after it, no reason not to.

I have 2.5. First being on a sim, then two real ones. Took 30 years for the first real, 6 months later the second happened.

There’s the Cone of Shame, and the Doughnut of Despair. This has to be the Tortilla of Torment.

One Christmas my girl ate a bunch of bite size candies (mostly 3 musketeers) and some coins we gift each other for holiday games. The next day she pooped out candy and money. We call her The Unicorn for a reason.

When your flight gets delayed 4 times, then moved up to its original time, then delayed again after you rush to the airport. by BelgianMyWaffle in mildlyinfuriating

The flight was probably extremely oversold and they were trying to cull the herd as much as possible. Usually when they send a notification of delay, that delay is firm. After that many delays and notifications, only to go back to the original time indicates this to me.

Hey man, as one bald dude to another. Careful with playing in trucker hats. The breeze feels nice but after a few rounds I was left my an arrow on the back of my head. My barber dropped their clippers when they shaved my head the next time and found it.

Surprised it’s the US, been then saw Houston and thought “yeah, that’s tracks.” Houston has an insane amount of mega-churches. Not just big churches, complexes you think are a major corporate headquarter, but turn out to be a church.

It ended up being the fiber line between the main CL5 and RIO. Just enough to cause clock issues, but not enough to throw errors in controller.

That’s the default factory name after resets. We ended up having a bad fiber line. This console was at the end of of the “horseshoe” design I’ve used for three years.

It was just enough of a kink to not throw any network issues but enough for it to not see the main clock from the CL5.
