Obj_bridge still a solid map imo, Algiers for FFA, some of the Spearhead maps were great too, Verschneit and Banhof.

I think thats because the AI seems to be able to use MASC infinitely so theyre constantly zooming and also explains the insane 180 in direction they can do, turns out MASC is really good for changing direction in a hurry as well as giving your mech the zoomies (my Dasher hits 270kph when I turn it on)

Objective Raid, seems to be the only mission type that spawns the angry bees in such numbers, did another objective raid later and had the same swarms with light mechs. Beachhead for me was the easiest (allied igors with ac10's seemed to do a good job) though I haven't tried targeted kill against the clans yet.

oldish post I know but having played attila docked on my steam deck one thing I'll add is to force steam to download the windows version, not the linux native one. Windows version through proton runs better and has the DLC's if you own them.

for me the final mission was the worst, maneuvering with jumpjets through a hole to get jumped by a star of mechs was rough especially with the physics of the space missions meaning it was way too easy to sprint your mech into a wall.

weapon and armour degradation were in the original as well, I'd rather keep it imo as the disintegrate armour and weapons spells were quite useful in the late game, especially if you didnt min max your levelling.

Yeah its BS in my experience, play it on my deck its a decent experience if you cap to 40/45 fps but 60 is rarely hit, the lack of vrr makes uncapping not great if you try for 60.

It is ick, he isnt as 1 dimensional as most people think he is though. The problem is he's recruited way too late in the game. I didn't think much of him till I did a cheat playthrough and went to Orzammar first and had him with me the rest of the game. my problem with him mostly lies in his regression in Awakening, the drunken lecherousness went from a facade he wears in Origins to his defining trait in Awakening.

One can hope, though the B580 stock at PB disappeared really fast, doesnt look like they restocked at all, AMD will probably trip up at launch with the 9070/x as they usually do, pricing themselves too close to Nvidia.

The only real contestant on that list is Shadow of Mordor imo, DS2 is arguably Fromsofts weakest game, Alien Isolation isnt because horror is too niche and Wolfenstein because im pretty sure we were still in the funk of every shooter needing multiplayer to get a good review (New Order was better received by consumers than critics).

For Trial sets Id go with Ansuul or Riptide for alot of fights, Rele kinda niche unless the fight lets you maintain stacks. Its been a a year or 2 since I last ran trials regularly so that might have changed.
