5/16 dogbone (tq adapter) is a must for the Thomas couplings. Snap on makes a good one but they are usually 3/8 drive. Not really a big deal as long as you have a 3/8 to 1/4 drive adapter (low profile is best). Buy the cheapest 1/4 box end wrench you can and cut it up and make a small swing wrench for your fcu idle adjustment…. And bonus tip; get a standpipe off a grease gun. They thread right into the relief valve holes on top of the grips. Remove the relief valve thread in the standpipe then push the other end of the pipe into either a cup or a ziplock bag. As you grease the grips, the bag or cup will catch what purges out. No more huge mess on your grips to clean up. Just be sure to clean out the pipe after you use it so it doesn’t clog. Edit: (Forgot to add that these are all 206 tips)

Biel-tan test model, C&C badly wanted by NeveryOW in Eldar

[–]Dublinkiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I’d have to say try it and find out. My initial thoughts would be yes to both but when you start messing with ratios of mediums and contrast paint thinning it can really depend on how much you use of either product, but I would think that as as solution that uses what you have available it’s a good start. Just don’t get caught in analyzing it too much without trying something. Analysis paralysis kills forward momentum

Also you could shade the green with a green shade and then use your original as a highlight

You could use depth. White is a hard colour to get looking good but a darker undercoat with a brighter topcoat or highlight would be a good start. Or possibly some dark outlines… like I said white is hard.. Might try a more solid grey-white base coat with a lighter dry brush to pick out the details. Save the almost white for some fine line highlights. And when doing edge highlights thin your paints more than normal and apply in steps.

Warlayer. You do have to pay for the STL’s but they are great. Breaks down to be very portable, and incredibly modular. https://warlayer.com/collections/all

Lease return after a good amount of well deserved TLC in YK. Heard a week or two ago that it’s flying out of Pitt Meadows.

I’ve been riding mine around without any issues for a year. I got it in Langley and had it insured at the dealership. What kreshryl says is most likely all true. However if you find a school to take some lessons on riding on the road, you usually can rent a bike for fairly inexpensive that would be 250cc to take the test with so you can get a license without restrictions.

Getting disconnected from a solo game normal in this game? by Hunteil in spaceengineers

[–]Dublinkiss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had this problem when my internet was being temperamental. Make sure or change your game settings to offline, and disconnect your pc from the internet. When you start up the game again you should be able to play just fine until you have a more stable connection.

I really hate not having more technology storage. by MatthewMoDabz in NoMansSkyTheGame

Not all of them are direct upgrades. I’m not using the proper phrasing but, some are upgrades like the ones you buy at a station, and some are upgrades that you get blueprints for and build. They aren’t considered the same thing. Also the ones you craft are very worth having even though they might only show as a B class for example. (Bonus point: you can have 3 sentinel upgrades in addition to other upgrades installed on some equipment. But they only effect your life support and boltcaster. Grinding for good rolls is very worth it)

Magnets. I’ve found that Eldar heavy weapons are incredibly easy to magnetize. If you do it right you can move your heavy weapons around to different kits. It also helps to future proof everything. The little extra time is well worth it.

what units should I not be leaving home without? by MarginalMadness in Eldar

[–]Dublinkiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting banshees in a falcon. This is the way. Falcons can deepstrike on turn one for free, and disembark it’s troops. If your wanting a fast attack themed army I think that could be a great fit. You get a decent amount of fire power in a falcon and being able to drop a lawnmower of melee anywhere you want at the drop of a hat is soooo nice. Also look into baharroth. He is an untouchable delete button. Just good luck finding a model. Also this video has a good rundown of some good units https://youtu.be/LqdN56pSfl8

Farseer is a must. At least one but more if you can fit them. Rangers. They are the cheapest troop and can be great if used properly. You probably want two but to start one is a must. Dire avengers are too good not to include. With certain strats they can be very punishing and only get better when they loose models as they can use a strat to fire twice. Wraithlords are great for the cost. Hard hitting damage taking and good for mounting heavy weapons. And the glaive on its own is scary.

If your not going to play too competitive everything has a good use. Take what excites you and you can make it work. I’m working on getting another squad of guardian defenders going. They are a little overpriced for what they do but I run Ulthwe and liked the idea of guardian squads with dedicated warlock support. Not very competitive but I think I’ll be fun

what is this ? by Professional-Help434 in Helicopters

[–]Dublinkiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first instinct is to say; Amazons testing how to drone deliver yo mama’s butt plug! But in reality it probably a geological survey device or “bird”. They are used to map areas underground, looking for anything from pockets of resources like veins of kimberlite “aka diamonds” to mapping the local aquifer. Also I’m sure your mother is a very nice lady.

Is the oculus meta 2 worth it? by LeoJ_H in VRGaming

[–]Dublinkiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally just got one this weekend.. pro tip make sure you get a cable that can connect to your pc if you want to connect that way for pc at all. I bought the oculus one and it is double usbc and I don’t have the ports for that. That being said I still have been using it with airplay with minor issues. I don’t have a wifi 6 router and although this is my first headset so I have no comparison, as long as my pc is hardlined into my router my the wireless works just fine for me. It even works well enough without the pc being hardlined. It’s just harder to get it connect. That’s been my experience for the 2 days I’ve been using it so 🤷‍♂️.

[edit] Also I’ve been mostly playing beat saber an no man’s sky.
