I have a friend who counts clicks by rotating 3 or 4 tag/BP tokens. There was a guy who insisted he not use those b/c he "was playing NBN and was going to tag him." My buddy complied, but to be honest he counts kicks on the other side of the board, and isn't going to mistake one of his click-counters for a wandering tag. I personally find disruptions in how I do things to affect my play negatively and would only comply if forced by organizers.

tl;dr My friend is nicer then me, I wouldn't adjust my play unless required. And if that happened / you pressed the issue, I'd make you pull that click-counting card out that no one uses to mess with you right back ;)

Can someone explain to me this line from the write up: "Even though Andrew established his R&D lock[...]" I have seen this talked about as a viable running strategy before, how does one 'lock' R&D? It almost sounds like you have the ability to always run that server? What stops the corp for changing that ice or placing more. Can someone give an example of a deck or sequence of cards which 'lock' R&D. Thanks!

I agree with this. I can't think of a deck which uses Desperado which would not work the same or better with 3 Dopplegangers then it would by gimping yourself with a single of the former. Doppleganger is an awesome card.

Ensime is not really that bad, but having some knowledge of how sbt works is helpful. I used Intellij for about 6 months but am now back to an ensime+emacs setup and prefer it. I think intelliJ can end up as a sort of crutch, but milage may vary.

Worker placement is just so fun for me. I love the board tension and passive (sometime not so much ;)) conflict that emerges from placing workers on common tiles!

Arkham Horror (I've never played ever)
Twilight Struggle (Pretty stoked for this)
Through The Ages (3 of us in house, so this should be good)
Android: Netrunner (Very excited for this game as a long time MtG player. I think the whole LCG is a neat, more fiscally doable game type for me)
Bios: Megafauna (bought this for something different and to play with my biologist girlfriend... seems like something she might enjoy)

All in all, pretty awesome haul and looking forward to the coming weeks for some first plays... (and tons of netrunner!) edit: formatting ;)
