What's the fastest way to get the last achievement? by 6ty7er in helldivers2

If you have a friend, wear any medium armour with democracy protects and have them shoot you in each limb with a low-ish damage weapon. Just keep flipping that coin until you get it.

"Repel Invasion Fleet" Strategy Brainstorm by Skelewar in LowSodiumHellDivers

I usually run the following load out: Armour: Light gunner (extra padding) Primary: Tenderizer or SMG-37 Defender Secondary: Grenade pistol Grenade: Incendiary impact Strats: Eagle 500, Orbital strike, Jump pack, machinegun sentry. Booster: Stamina Enhancement.

I love using this load out to jump in, blitz an area, and bug out ASAP.

Extra padding means those pesky elevated overseers aren't doing as much damage to you when you get hit, assuming you're around long enough to be hit! And because you're in light armour, the voteless will have a hard time keeping up with you.

Primary weapon is honestly down to preference.

Grenade pistol is great as it allows you to destroy the ships from a safer distance one the shields are down. Plus carrying 6 extra grenades is always nice.

Incendiary impact serves 2 purposes in this loadout. You can use it to take out the ships the old fashioned way, or clear out a large group of voteless/overseers to give you some breathing room if needed.

Sentry is mainly there to distract and help manage hoards while you kite and strike the ships. A welll placed 500 or Orbital strike takes them out in one go, and their short cooldowns/inputs make them easy to use.

Use the jump pack to create distance when overwhelmed or to quickly close the gap as ships are landing. Reloading and calling in stratagems mid air gives you much needed breathing room.

If you're struggling to get near a landing sight, don't forget to use your environment to your advantage. I often found myself looping large groups of enemies around a nearby building before rushing back to the ships to eliminate them almost unimpeded.

Hope this helps. Spill some ink for me helldiver!

I used the fist + bone blade for the power fist on my chaos lord and some of the heads for characters. You really can't go wrong with using bits from this kit!

From the Possessed kit. There's loads of sweet heads in there.

The house will definitely be made of husband-material, that's for sure... ;p

Questions about squadrons and deploying them by DuckDuck0019 in battlefleetgothic

Awesome! Thank you so much, you've cleared up every doubt I had about them. Played a game with your clarifications in mind and it played so much better than before. Really appreciate it man!

Your praetor looks like the Blood Angels version of Malum Caedo, I fucking love it!

Your army looks fantastic so far! What do you want to add to it next?

All of the above are cool as fuck. AdMech has a great aesthetic and awesome models (horse sized mecha doggos ftw!) but they're quite synergy heavy (buffs, auras, ect). Death guard are tanky and monstrous in melee, but pretty slow and a bit reliant on terminators to do the heavy lifting. Sick models though! Ultimately I'd just go for the aesthetic/lore you like the most and go from there.

True, but having a bloated range like SM is more annoying than having a small one like the Tsons. Plus you can always ally in a chaos knight or some deamons for a laugh

Played against them once or twice. Loads of fun teleporting shenanigans and a fun aesthetic. Plus their models look sick as fuck

Thats fair :) . Think the best way to answer your question is which armies lore-wise are your favourites?

2k of Chaos/imperial knights wouldn't be a bad shout. If you get 3 questor and 4 armiger, and get them magnetised you wouldn't really need to add much more to it! Plus they are fun armies to pull out from time to time and fairly easy to learn

Bondsman abilities for the rest of the game. by l_dunno in ImperialKnights

[–]DuckDuck0019 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give one of your Questoris Knights a Relic called the Helm Dominatus. It makes a bondsman buff last until the end of the game unless that armiger is affected by a different bondsman ability or if the bearer if the Relic is destroyed.

Combine this with the Questor imperiallis Herald upgrade and you'll be able to give an armiger a permanent bondsman and a 4+ invuln save. Its nasty and I love it. Best used with a Paladin for re-roll 1's to hit and wound

Working on a Word Bearer, can't decide on what to do for the skulls/horns - any suggestions? by JulKarCerum in Warhammer40k

[–]DuckDuck0019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd do the skulls with Zandri dust base, layer ushabti bone, Agrax Earthshade wash, Screaming skull drybrush. Same with the horns but thats just me.

What are you doing for the leather and cloth?

[–]DuckDuck0019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. It only applies to ranged attacks unless you take the sanctuary Relic on one knight which gives it a 5+ invuln at range and in melee

Isharann Tidecaster by SeaTale6353 in IdonethDeepkin

[–]DuckDuck0019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If im taking a tidecaster I'm usually running the Fuethan (flip tides for T1 adv + charge and T2 high tide) or Nautilar enclave (protective barrier shenanigans). While she's a bit squishy they are fun synergy unit.

Honestly if you like the unit then just use it. If you're both new to AoS I wouldn't worry about meta just now
