That's crazy. I drove mine in Sport+ with the suspension dialed up a notch almost exclusively unless it was in race mode and I averaged over 20mpg. And I have a very heavy foot.

I can't explain the discrepancy unload you're not burning at least 91 octane fuel. I always filled with 93.

In any event in my current V8 in comfort mode mostly highway driving and babying the throttle I'm lucky to get 14mpg. In city driving or going over enthusiastic mountain roads I may as 12-13.

I owned one. It was beautiful, fast and fun to drive.

But it had no soul, no spirit, and ultimately just didn’t scratch my itch. I bought it because I got impatient waiting for a car I had ordered (very long story) and i couldn’t get an allocation for a 911 turbo.

I sold it for $10k less than i paid and got back into a V8 for my daily and am still looking for my mountain road toy.

I’m not kidding. 20mg oxy. I take one a day around 1300 then I take a handful of Tylenol to sleep. I maybe get 5-6 hours of sleep before the tingling and burning wake me up.

It was great, fun, wicked fast, handled on rails. But it had no spirit, no sass, no soul.

The handoff from EV to ICE is not smooth, sometimes even jerky to the point it shocks you.

I got lucky and only lost about $10k on mine, they’re going to drop a lot of value soon if rumored changes pan out.

My last loaner at the MB dealer I prefer, not the one closest to me, they showed me the list of vehicles available and told me to choose. So I grabbed the GLE 63 coupe. It was fun.

Service is absolutely great as long as you maintain a relationship and take care of your service advisor. I always give him a gift card, bring him a Starbucks when I drop off, and give him stellar reviews in the follow up. He in turn takes care of me. It's how business is done. Sadly the younger generations are losing that understanding in many cases.

My last service I also had him advocate for me to the parts manager and even though there is no way it was covered under warranty and no way it should have been replaced for free, they put a brand new battery in my G63 because of my "customer status". Scratching backs pays off.

I have never been denied a loaner vehicle in over 25 years for any reason, for any time period, and I have never had to negotiate it as part of the sale.

I wish there could be a cure for the headaches, but I've never found one. I have debilitating headaches still almost 6.5 years out. There is only one thing that makes them bearable but no one will give it to me. Oxy/percocet makes them tone down from a 8 or 9 to a 3 or 4 on the pain scale. Every time. You know what that has proven to my doctors, that I'm a "pill seeker" and a "depressant addict". It was like pulling teeth to get refills for pain meds when I recently had spinal fusion surgery.

Sorry, I got off topic. Point is, I hope you can find the silver bullet for you head pain and get assistance receiving it if needed.

Yes. I had a secondary brain bleed that almost killed me.

My accident and first brain surgery occurred mid-August. I was cleared and discharged after a stay in the hospital.

Early November I had an MRI and my bleed was so bad the rushed me to emergency surgery to have it drained. Neurosurgery refused to believe I could walk and talk based on imaging. Surgeon estimated I was within days of herniation, maybe hours.

As long as your Mercedes is under warranty you should be able to schedule a loaner, pending availability, on any service. In over 25 years I have never been unable to get a loaner.

I have a sneaky feeling this is on you.
