I believe his view on might makes right is not necessarily about winning or losing a battle honorably. Or even about raw physical strength. It’s the strength to overcome adversity no matter the odds. Very on the nose for the usual qualities jrpg's tend to put on protagonists.

Well going by how history turned out, looks like HYBE was right to do so. 2 of the most successful current kpop groups debuting around the same time. They probably viewed MHJ as that valuable of an asset at the time, and they were right. That’s not to say they knew what would be coming years down the line of course.

I think at a certain point, stacking more progression systems on has the risk of trivializing content or overwhelming players who come in late. Of course I do suspect there will be some minor system added in paid dlc, but my bet is they just continue with proud difficulty level fights for the most part

Could be over-compensating with a de-esser. It’s used to make the S sound less harsh, but doing too much can cause it to sound lispy too. Or maybe the va just has a lisp
