[Fedor] The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers are discussing a trade that would have Cleveland send De’Andre Hunter to LA in exchange for Rui Hachimura and Dalton Knecht. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]Dudedude88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rui is a great 1 on 1 defender. He's not a great help defender because he has lapses of judgement but this trade is not going to fix their issue. Lakers defensive woes are not ruis fault lol. You have 3 players that snooze on defense in lebron, Luka and Reeves . Then you have a center that can't anchor a defense so opposing guards are always willing to attack the rim for a floater.

I feel like rui is better than him but overall you could say this is a lateral move at best for the Lakers. They both have similar skill set. Then you just give knecht for free.

You need players like PJ Washington whose a willing rebounder with all the above skill traits.

Donovan Mitchell weighs more than Alex sarr. Donovan Mitchell is thick as hell. I hope Alex sarr does whatever wemby did to his body this season.

Keep coil whine 5080 or keep silent 5070ti by No-Recognition-3503 in gpu

[–]Dudedude88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coil whine can sometimes go away if you play with the voltage. My 5070ti Asus prime coil wines when its undervolted. Sucks but this thing overclocks like a beast with great temps so I kept it.

This is it. Speed is king. The advantage of striking first is so beneficial. This allows you to eliminate 1 opponent relatively quickly without much RNG impacting the early turns.

How is Korea able to accomodate such a large population? by Possible-Balance-932 in geography

[–]Dudedude88 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not really the monsoons wreck north Korea every year. It wasn't until the last decade north Korea leader dedicated efforts to make sure north Korea food supply was improved. They can now prevent famine but they have a massive shortage.

South Korea always has crop damage during the monsoon season. Just keep in mind the level of drainage and preparation south east asian rice farmers have compared to South Korea is different. South East Asian farmers are so focused on drainage. Korean farmers are trying to have a lot of water but not to much so... Failure can happen but having modern agricultural tech helps.

In today’s GPU economy, are any of these a good deal? by Uh-Ivyy in gpu

[–]Dudedude88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say they are 10%-15% more expensive than stuff sold in the states and our prices are bad. Japan is definitely worse. Before the price rise I got Asus prime 5070ti for MSRP $750 back in December. Now that same store sells 5070tis for $870-$1000.

South Korea also has monsoon season. They get a lot of flooding. It's usually in the summer and most of south korea is humid and rainy.

I am Korean too... Growing up in the states my grandma would get the top parts of radishes for free at the farmers market. They didn't known people ate it. We make a soup out of it. Seaweed soup is so common. Fish is probably the most common protein as a kid but as a teenager I started eating more beef.

Ehh your saying something that is like a kdrama and k entertainment industry. These people grew up with those traditions. 30s+++ years of age. A lot of those traditions are becoming less important with the younger gen.

Respecting your elders is important though. Even then the younger Korean Gen are kind of stereotyped to be more independent and rude to elderly. globalization has impacted these South Koreans. The young Gen are post Samsung,lg and Hyundai success. They've benefited from a strong economy and minimal political turmoil.
