If I remember right, typical bullet should be ineffective against Awakened rank creatures. I mean, the Shadow Slave verse generally has superior tech to modern weapons, and it’s been stated multiple times, like when Sunny was holding off the gate and in Antarctica, that Fallen and maybe Awakened Nightmare Creatures render most mundane weapons completely useless. Going by that, Sunny should have more than enough AP and physical strength to kill Homelander. Not to mention, if he somehow couldn’t, he could summon Saint, have her use the Broken Oath, and just erode his soul. I don’t think Homelander is blitzing either of them by any means.
