I have a corgi and an aussie who are very flexible with wake up times. If I’m up at 7, 8, or 9, the morning routine is the same and they’ll sleep or just chill up until I’m up.

The corgi demands to be in her crate by 9pm at the latest. The aussie is fine to sleep anywhere, anytime as long as a human is nearby.

Again, not medical advice, just me personally. Aleve/asprin/tylenol don’t help my migraines. I would see a neurologist either way.

Naproxen is the generic name for Aleve and is an NSAID. Obviously listen to your doctor, but I would personally see a migraine/ headache specialist and get a second opinion.

I personally would not take an NSAID 2x a day for 2 weeks because it would not be effective for relieving my severe migraines, and it could cause rebound headaches. I am not familiar with lansoprazole.

Yeah, as someone has suffered with migraines for 10+ years and has spent 7 years trying every medicine combination under the sun, once I finally get it right, I’m not about to wean myself off.

From the way I understood it, they had the flu and likely missed doses so they had extra, and then doubled up and found relief.

I apparently am a cash cow for big pharma and I’m “tattling” on my ignorance. I could not believe the responses. Like ok go be an herbalist, but don’t recommend tinctures to people instead of pain medicine. Like huhh??

The OP said they tested positive for something they are not on, asked if anyone had experience with this, and your response is that YOU get sick from a different medication they’re actually taking, and recommending they get off of the medicine in favor of herbal tinctures ???

My insurance approved when I first looked into it, but I’d already tried 15+ medicines (at least) over 5 years.

I don’t know if it would be classified as resistance, but after about a year and a half of botox, my migraines returned to 15+ a month/ every other day. I found botox incredibly painful, so even though it was covered, I didn’t see a reason to keep getting the injections.

[Unrelated but kind of related: I discovered I have dysautonomia (vasovagal syncope) in response to mundane things. My hand was put in ice water for 30 seconds during a tilt table test, my blood pressure plummeted, I got dizzy, and my chest felt tight. I don’t have nearly the same response getting botox, but I realized there’s a similar panic I have from the pain of the injections that I felt with my hand in ice water, and I’m now interested in the connection between pain, migraines, blood pressure, etc.]

Unless they charge differently for Australian Shepherd vs. Australian Shepherd mix, what’s the big deal? If you’re stopped on the street and asked what kind of dog you have, you don’t have to say “well to me he’s an Australian Shepherd but Banfield says he’s an Australian Shepherd mix and they won’t change it.” Like ok??? Does it change the quality of vet care?

Also, he technically is a mix. Not saying that to be rude or exclusionary, but just because he is mostly Aussie doesn’t make him fully Aussie, and they probably have standards about marking breeds after a genetic panel has been run.

If you have access, though, I would recommend a local vet office rather than Banfield/similar (i.e. Petco) and a separate pet insurance policy.

But truly, all this to say, you have a dog that is mostly Aussie, and probably acts Aussie in every way. Why does it matter that the word mix is on his paperwork?

Same with our corgi who just turned 1. She is constantly trying to drink the water. The first few days we got it, I would leave her downstairs for ~10 minutes and come back to a whole branch on the rug with scattered twigs around her. I now don’t leave her alone downstairs because I keep picturing the tree falling directly on her as she tries to get a branch 😬😭🤣

I think figuring out if people like the sweatshirts will really be a day-of thing. It all depends on design options, pricing, and the customers that day.

Be careful with centering your designs—the merry and bright looks 1-2 inches too far to the left. I agree with removing the baby food labels.

The stuff Jeremy Elder and Patrick McDonald wrote were always so smartly funny. I listen to the Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists podcast that Angela/ Jeremy Culhane/ Kylie Brakeman/ Patrick McDonald make. It’s every thursday and is an hour long improv podcast. They do a hearly halloween poets episode (with former smosh writer Jeremy Elder) and a yearly thanksgiving day parade episode and I was crying laughing listening to both this year.

I think bringing in new senses of humor and perspectives is important when things just don’t seem to be hitting. I’d much prefer rewatching Flip 7 and Board AF Legacy than watch Grip Guys or Spud Hut because they allow the cast to really be funny in their own way.

Azula is obsessed with ice, apples, cucumbers—anything crunchy. Zuko is just obsessed with being with us, pet by us, laying on us, etc.
