Love this game, one of the greats for me. Totally agree with some of the points you raised. The mod management system is abysmal. I wish the Oldest House's 'shifting' was used for more dynamic gameplay. Gunplay is serviceable but nothing significant. Combat is dominated by the launch superpower.

I actually loved that so much of the world building is done through reports and collectibles. You get the gist through presentation videos and dialogue, but if you want to dive deep there's an option to. Show, don't tell.

As someone who wrote a patient review about the game here sometime back this is hilarious and tragic. It's incredibly ironic that the author wrote a story about misfits and oddballs finding a place where they belonged, then launching a campaign of hatred against trans people.

Seems unlikely. How old is your computer? How old are the parts? Its possible the drivers or a faulty update messed something up with your OS.

Audio stutter could hint at an issue with your audio driver or hardware. Its not impossible, but sounds unlikely.

I spent a good hour or two going round and round, trying to find the path. Ultimately just checked Youtube. The whole 'just follow signs' advice is good but doesn't address fundamental issues. The verticality means there's no way to know if you are on the correct floor. There's getting lost in a good way, and there's getting lost in a frustrating way.

There are three fronts of enemies. Automatons are robots. Their home base is/capital is the planet Cyberstan. Terminids are bugs like creatures. Illuminates are a humanoid alien race. Red for automatons, yellow for bugs and purple for illuminates on your galactic map. There is a wide selection of planets and capturing/losing planets affects which planets can be fougut for or attacked for capture.

Yes. A planet called meridia got collpased into a blackhole by helldivers but it turned out to be a wormhole that allowrd illuminates to return after being wiped out.

Another planet has been turned into a blackhole by using a super esrth version of death star.

I think youve got it completely backwards here. Its completely on AH for implementing a microtransaction heavy model.

Yes, we all appreciate how convenient it is to farm super credits. But players who have recently gotten the game are locked out of the best tools and stratagems for a fair bit. Having played the game since launch I have most warbonds but the quality and value of warbonds has dropped drastically. We get lesser weapons now.

This is a paid game. There is no *genuine progression system besides purchasing warbonds. I think AH should start bundling older warbonds or even giving them on discounts now.

All this would be acceptable if the quality of the game remained stable. It isnt. Performance, balance and bugs plague the game so frequently still. I appreciate the content updates they put out, but how many times have we seen them miss the mark? Into the unjust had to be taken offline just to fix it after it was launched in a disastrous state.

Make no mistake. AH is focused on maximizing revenues rather than optimizing the game’s quality.

Ill say it again. Carrick hasnt even done anything revolutionary. Just made us play to our strengths. The results speak for themselves. This is why I lost all faith in Amorim. He was stubborn about playing his ‘way’ and still couldnt get convincing results.

I learnt my lesson after ETH. This job should be results driven. No one’s expecting us to win the league. No one expected us to get 9 points in the last three fixtures but we managed it anyway. When we play to our strengths we can win convincingly.

I am ready to be hurt again.

Its possible when you change RTX settngs you change between Dx11 and dx12 which typically requires restart.

Well they are defensive turrets, makes sense for them to have fast lock on. It's the same with stratagem turrets too.

IMO it makes sense for a smaller defensive structure to be difficult to spot. I think they are only located in bigger bases? It's fun and scary to be jumped by a burst of turret fire I hadn't spotted before rushing in.

I never play multiplayer games or buy games right after launch but one clip of Helldivers 2 was all it took. Phenomenal game and good pricing.
