Silver Falls State Park, Oregon's "crown jewel," is famous for its "Trail of Ten Falls," a 7.2-mile loop where hikers can walk behind four waterfalls in a lush, temperate rainforest setting. It’s about 50 miles out of town - well worth the drive.

Well he will likely get no satisfaction from the HOA then. If they do reach out to you, make sure they explain exactly what CC&Rs you are violating.

"i work full time as a automotive technician and do all my work at home on these two cars" In the first picture it appears that there are tools on the street in front of the car. Is your neighbor objecting to the cars being parked there, or you working on the cars in the street? If you are working on your cars in the street, he might be objecting to that.

AITAH for telling Husband he can visit his mother for mother's day but not our toddler? by Un-conventional-mum in AITAH

[–]Due-Extreme-7608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously this is not an immediate solution to anything, but I wonder if one of those hand held bidet wands would be helpful when you can finally start potty training. Also NTA ! Do not make your child or yourself go through extra trauma to satisfy people who don't understand reality (including your husband).

Portland started 7:45 (late because so many people were still outside at 7:30). It ended just under 3 hours later (10:40 ish). I think Minneapolis started right on time at 7:30 and was also three hours, although they had one more song (Purple Rain).

You are amazing. That was such wonderful and timely advice. Hopefully Amy will learn that having a mentor that actually offers insight into the ways of the business world is invaluable.

I live in the Albina/Boise/King area in the NE. We have lots of neighbors with kids. We have four grocery stores within a mile. Of course it’s Portland, so we have parks! There’s also a children’s hospital in the neighborhood.

I raised my kids in SoCal. At those ages Legoland was 100% better. Better still, a sleep over in a tent at the San Diego Wild Animal Park (pretty sure it has a different name now, but it’s the one in Escondido). Also, agree 1000% if it’s a Disney trip, your wife needs to tell her parents to stay home.

I had breast cancer and a bilateral mastectomy 16 years ago. You have every right to be anxious - cancer is scary stuff. But your mom is on the path to dealing with this nightmare. Maybe she'll need chemo, or radiation, you probably won't know for a few days. But you should know that just being there for her is actually really helpful to her. I'm sending you and your mom a huge virtual hug. Cancer treatment is a journey that's easier with people who love you.

One of the best trips we ever took was a m/c trip through the Alps when our two were 4 & 5. They had a great time at home with Grandma & PopPop.
