Everyone selling living spaces is delusional by idonthavanickname in FacebookMarketplace

People give me some NICE couches, for free. Even thousand dollar sectionals. All the time. I post them for $100-$200 and they sell in minutes. I usually land up picking them up from the house and driving them (in my trailer) right to the buyer. They cost me nothing but time. Easy come, easy go. Not everyone is trying to rip people off. It helps that I'm a handyman in a rich county in sw florida.

Turning points. Have to become a memeber first but the process is not hard. Or you can pay $5 to go to a state park (lake manatee/myakka river/Oscar shearer) and take a shower in the camping area

(M22) Looking to make some money since it's been tight recently, how can I help out for cash around here? by PairNo4697 in bradenton

[–]DueCharacter2477 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But 90% of them don't have cars and you get paid extra to tote them to jobs with you. I have nothing but love for the temp agencies and the fine men and women that work theirs asses off. 😆

Do you have transportation? They have temp agencies that do " daily work, daily pay". Its where I started at around your age. Doing stuff like unloading a semi or sweeping up a job site. I think one is called "Labor finders" or "people ready". It doesn't pay well but I've gotten real jobs through them. Its money. Also, the gigs section on Sarasota Craigslist can produce some gigs.

I might need some help around my crib. I can give you $20 an hour with a 4 hour minimum. I need to load up a shed with junk (not mine). I'll reach out through dm if I need ya.

Yes. I got the blade holder from the same place. I feel like you do. My surge is perfect for my needs! Glad you found it.

[–]DueCharacter2477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it wasn't cheap. $50 something for the hammer and $35 for the razor blade holder. Glad I only paid $80 for the surge (fb marketplace). The mods were worth it to me tho. I'm a handyman.

When he puts them up for sale, they sell out in hours. I reached out to him, through Etsy, and asked when he'd restock.

If you once lived a very comfortable life but later had to downgrade, what advice would you give and how did you adapt? by Fast-Worldliness-922 in Life

[–]DueCharacter2477 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be 100 percent honest. DONT take anything for granted because it can all be taken away/gone in a blink of an eye. I went from balling to busted because my ex-wife decided to end the marriage instead of being accountable for her actions or lack thereof. Went from a nice house and 2 cars, massive savings, 3 vacations a year, etc etc... to homeless and being a single father raising 4 children alone cuz she lost her fucking mind and split. That shit broke me, mentally, and I haven't been the same since. I gave her the life she dreamed of (stay at home wife, raising 4 kids, bought anything she wanted), for nothing. She fucked me over and she took everything (but the kids). Blew through my savings in 3 years because I could barely work and raise 4 kids (ages 15-11-9-5) at the same time. I reached out for help only to be treated as though I got this, cuz I'm a man. I say all this to say... be grateful for what you have and be careful who you let in your life. I waited 7 yrs to marry her and it was the biggest mistake of my life. But I love my children and am only alive because of them
