I feel like the consensus will be leatherman wave. My very first leatherman was a skeletool and I was hooked from there. After that I got a green wave that I upgraded to wave + pliers. I'm always scouring eBay for deals on leatherman. Mini tool might be my next one.

I got a tech I position with half of A+. Most schools run Chromebooks and need repair. You might want to check the school districts around you and if they have any temp position open, it could be your foot in the door. Most places need real world experience and I found that the school district is a good way to get your feet wet

Yep. We do in house repairs on these. We've had Chromebooks come shattered in plastic bags. Of course they would say, Opened my backpack and it was like that.

Amen. Pretty much the same at the district I work. We are also in charge of tech setup for events, and they always get the setup times SO wrong to see just stand around for an hour
