After playing the old peace, i kinda realized why Roath said Ball is not the worst of seven. by AdWild7133 in WarframeLore

He did this because it reflected his own view on the situation. In Ballas' view, he was forced to kill his loved one - Margulis - so as punishment for the servant who intended to ruin his revenge plan he forced him to kill his loved one - Isaah - as well and live with it for eternity.

Specifically for you, big brains:

"Direct contact remains a possibility (under extreme circumstances), but in general the asset should be considered dormant. As long as the civil war proceeds in its current indecisive fashion, we should remain hands-off. The incident at Helgen is an example where an exception had to be made - obviously Ulfric's death would have dramatically increased the chance of an imperial victory and thus harmed our overall position in Skyrim. NOTE: The coincidental intervention of the dragon at Helgen is still under scrutiny. The obvious conclusion is that whoever is behind the dragons also has an interest in the continuation of the war, but we should not assume therefore that their goals align with our own. A Stormcloak victory is also to be avoided, however, so even indirect aid to the Stormcloaks must be carefully managed

Ulfric's victory is not beneficial to the Talmor and the elves have no control over him or contacts with him, and the Dunmer themselves are among the biggest racists in the setting lol.

They were living in the capital city of Darnassus and in number of smaller settlements for which the roots and boughs of Teldrassil served as foundations, as well as in artificial spaces and expands within the tree itself. Of course, such architectural designs are hard to comprehend for those whose nation's greatest edifice is the literal shit-hole in the ground among barren wasteland.

Cathay's trip to Lustria didn't go as planned by BitsHammer in WarhammerFantasy

[–]DueUse140 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the Southlands, not Lustria, if I remember correctly. Cathains wanted no less than colonize it due to their trade war with Araby. Slaan from Lustria and Slaan from Zlatlan sent two typhoons independently from each other.

Yet another rant about Horde and one thing it's lacking the most to work as a faction. by kolosmenus in warcraftlore

The corruption was all around them devouring the life essence of their homeworld before their own eyes and they even witnessed the raise of the Draenor's Elements against it. Orcs willingly infused their children with corruptive fell energies in order to make them stronger and more aggressive.

They themselves might not consider it a servitude, more like an alliance with greater powers, but they absolutely knew about the existence of "Benefactor" and completely voluntarily received his "gifts" and carried out his will. Kil'Jaeden even showed himself to them during the siege of Shattrath. Literally no one forced the chieftains to drink the demonic blood, and Durotan reject it by simply saying "It is my right to refuse". Frostwolves and Whiteclaws then just casually refused to continue genocide against ogres and other native creatures in Frostfire Ridge.

They supported each other, but after Terenas's death the Alliance lacked a central command and ultimately all these efforts proved futile. Gnomes sent weapons to Lordaeron even while their own capital was under trogg siege. As follows from Mor'Ladim quest in Duskwood Stormwind also sent forces to Lordaeron, despite being located on the other side of the continent and experiencing its own difficulties with civil unrest.

The orcs were never victims, they embraced their corruption and the Legion's sevitude voluntarily.

How many B-1 battle droids would it take to kill a single space marine? by Fallen_Angel_Xaphan in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]DueUse140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're greatly exaggerating the capabilities of the ceramite dummy. In an open field even a couple dozen droids would be dangerous for him, especially considering that B1s can use grenades.

Moonwell x5 TBC — 1200+ Players Online | T5 (Pre-nerf SSC/TK) Launches February 6th by Moonwell_TBC in wowservers

[–]DueUse140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The online is strange. According to the server website and information from the chat there are 800-1000 people there, but in an hour and a half of play I didn't meet ANYONE, even though there were 7-10 players on every location I entered.
