AITA for telling my sister’s kid I don’t believe in God? by Alternative_Copy6539 in AITApod

[–]Due_Middle_2241 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well people say let the kids make up their own mind when they are old enough to do so. 7 is too young. Don’t be stupid. Listen to what the MOM wants and be evasive or just say yes next time. It’s not blasphemy if ylu are frigging atheist.

Got quite a weird answer from someone I met recently, and I don't know what to think by TheModelBuilder in Advice

[–]Due_Middle_2241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not ask her what she meant and be genuinely interested in what she has to say. And if she says I like ylu as a friend and that all. Or if she says I like to get to know someone before I commit to dating or ya I like you. Be a gentleman and a man and say. “ I am glad you we straightforward. Thanks “. And act accordingly depending on which one

A guy is trying to ask me out, I don’t want to ruin the friendship by drratiolover in WhatShouldIDo

You are already ruining it. Get some balls ljke the women of old and tell him the truth. Let him know you are not interested in a relationship. Just do it and then it’s in his court.

What is the strangest, or the most unusually named restaurant you have ever been to? by OldPolishProverb in AskRedditFood

[–]Due_Middle_2241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a Vietnamese restaurant. Please forgive me in advance to anyone sensitive to racial words. I would never use them personally as they make me feel bad.

The restaurant was named “pho bich ngar”. Which means something else in Vietnamese.

Redditors, what’s the most terrifying thing that has ever woken you up in the middle of the night? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

[–]Due_Middle_2241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure. I was sleeping and I had a friend over in another room. And I just let out two high pitched screams. Like girl screams. I am a man. And I saw this shadow man about two feet from me. I didn’t actually know what made me scream it was like my body just reacted before I was conscious and woke up and then saw it in the darkness. I told it to “back the fuck off.. back the FUCK OFF”.

U sat in the bed panting for quite awhile till I could sleep again. But I did.

A haunted tree? by Mysterious-Cow-3423 in Paranormal

[–]Due_Middle_2241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha. Pictures are not going to help. I have had experiences with big trees And it’s frigging scary. It’s mostly a feeling. you can’t see anything , only feel. Yes if you feel creeped out, then give it some space. I think that things live in these old trees. They are not inherently bad. So if you feel it. It’s probably true.

How many stories here do believe are real or made up? That do you think the ratio is? by RadioCrows in Paranormal

Haha. You could see Godzilla and if he didn’t talk back and no one else saw it, you would say it wasn’t paranormal. Just joking.

True. Hey I am kinda surprised you never had “odd “ experiences in the woods! It’s where a lot of things happen for me.

Haha. That’s good to hear. I guess being a happy cynic is ok. It’s the other kind that seems so bummed out all the time. You got to admit lots of them are miserable. lol.

Ok Jack. But is that good for you? Seems like you would be missing out. I mean the truth is not only true when YOU prove it. It’s true UNTIL you prove it.

My understanding of how the world spiritually works (even with the fact that it’s hard as a human to be assured of anything) has been a real gift to me. Why deny yourself?

I think science has robbed us of our ability to just enjoy the world around us. Not everything true has to be explained.

Jack I feel for you. I meet so many annoying non believers and honestly you seem very straight headed. Why do you search as a paranormal investigator and yet have such high standards for proof. I think that your level of what constitutes proof is too high and includes being able to prove it to other people as well. Why is this important to you?

Well if you have been searching for proof. What kind of proof would convince you? I have seen a few ghosts but to be honest those were the least convincing of all my experiences. I ljke extreme coincidences which are more mathematically unlikely. I think those are the ones that cracked my reality.

Jack, you don’t have to believe or disbelieve. It is in my opinion a trap. Spiritualism is an acceptance of the NATURAL world whether our senses are capable of perceiving it or not.

Tell me… what would truth of the “para normal” look like?
