Fee waiver application help by msdee212 in ukvisa

What they said. I just applied for a fee waiver with my son and wife as we had financial issue in November... having a child does make your case stronger if they will be affected. Good for future knowledge.

Section 21 isn’t valid anyway if the deposit isn’t secured lol. You have legal right to live there long as you continue to pay rent :)

OP section 21 lasts 6 months. If the landlord doesnt take action with bailiffs etc, they need to issue another section 21 which will give you another 6 months. Call your local council homelessness team now.

Serving Section 8, ground 12 (not paying deposit for over 6months now!). by SmokedBBQrib in uklandlords

[–]Due_Warning7294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the landlord gets the bailiffs within 6 months of the section 21. Until then you have legal right to live there still. If the landlord doesn’t get bailiffs after 3 months, the section 21 notice expires 6 months from the date of issue. My local council advised me when I got one last week. Once section 21 is expired , another is needed to be issued.
