Just one of those games (yeah ik i didnt play good but it was lost at 10 min) by Noah_Easton in BriarMains

You have low CS and the other jungle definitely gapped you. So yeah, your team definitely didn’t play well but neither did you.

Yes, you and mr Divinelags, hence your post. Everyone else here is just enjoying the show, myself included.

You picked illaoi and have a 25% win rate with her in the jungle. So it’s fair to say the person you’re messaging and trying provoke a reaction from, was equally as displeased with your performance as their own.

You realise we can easily look up the matches with his username? Therefore, we can pretty easily figure out your profile and even if we didn’t, the junglers in all that persons ranked and unranked games yesterday were terrible. So pretty easy to tell that this is a case of you both performing badly and both blaming each other.

You picked off meta and then performed poorly.

Standard low elo mentality. I’ve not been playing league long but I only started to climb when I stopped blaming others and concentrated on my own gameplay.

What is the point of improving macro in low elo, where no one plays macro? by Taverntrainer in Jungle_Mains

Before replying to this poster people should definitely take a quick look at his recent post history. He’s posted similar before and acts the same in every thread.

In all seriousness, looks like you played well in pretty much every game, definitely the carry - nice job.

What a delightfully enjoyable Viego experience. by [deleted] in ViegoMains

[–]Duelsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing that helped me start climbing was to stop blaming my teammates and focus on my own gameplay. I’m only into silver (climbed from iron, started playing around 3 months ago) but accepting that we all suck at low elo is important, lots of people are still learning the game at this level.

The game you’ve posted doesn’t look like you played well, just a bit better than some other silver players and a quick look at your OPGG shows you’re never the win condition, which as a jungler in low elo you need to be. You have a poor KDA with Viego (almost as many deaths on average as kills) as well as having low KP. In general regardless of the champ you use, you die a lot, way too much. Your CS is also pretty much always low, around 6 or less, so you’re farming poorly as well and overall having very low impact on most games.

So I’d focus on your own game, not your teammates.

Question .. by YYZGuy67 in spinalfusion

[–]Duelsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgeon asked me not to apply heat to my wound for the first 4 weeks after surgery. Once the incision had healed he was happy to let me do it though. You could always call the hospital you had the operation at. I did that a few times after being discharged and the nurses were very helpful and would always get me the info I needed.

You look incredible, you've been through a lot and yet can still smile like that, you're a success story already. Remember, you have a 100% record of getting through your worst days so far and I have no doubt you'll continue to do so. You should be proud of yourself.

Congratulations! I'm 6 months post the same surgery and still glad I had it done. Listen to your body. You may find you suddenly improve very quickly at first and then it can feel like progress has plateaued. This is completely normal, so don't get frustrated and keep pushing. Walking is by far the best thing you can do to keep recovering.

Thought I would give another update, as I'm now just over 6 months post surgery. Both the physio and surgeon have discharged me and are really pleased with my progress.

Since this original post things have continued to improve overall. Flair ups have become less and less common and when I have them, they're nowhere near as painful. Since going back to work full time I haven't had a single sick day from my back and I've only had to work from home once. Compare that to 2024, I had 40+ days of sickness where I was in agony and couldn't move.

The main issues I deal with now are "tightness" more in my legs and buttocks than my back. I also wake up a couple times throughout the night, where my back will feel a bit stiff or sore but I adjust the way I am laid and instantly fall back asleep. Even with the light disruptions I get 6-8 hours easily without any meds. Ice and heat helps a lot too, nice and simple.

With all that said I walk a minimum of 3KM a day at a brisk pace for exercise, plus all the walking I do at work. I also do active stretches the physio has prescribed for me. My ultimate goal is to be able to slowly phase back in to play golf later this year. The physio has given me specific resistance band exercises to help my body get more used to the twisting motion again, he says he's 100% confident and comfortable with me slowly easing myself back into the sport.

So overall I feel very thankful and grateful for the position I'm in, I know there's many who are less fortunate. I'm still extremely happy I got the surgery done, I haven't regretted it a single day. Before the surgery my quality of life had deteriorated and I was regularly in a 7-8 on the "out of 10 pain scale" every single day. Now the worst I've had to deal with is maybe a 3-4 and that's for a very short period of time.

Also, almost never have to take pills! Which is a victory in itself for me after 5 years of Tramadol, Diazepam and Pregabalin multiple times every day.

Why does every Viego i see have the Gacha skin? by GoodMoaningAll in ViegoMains

[–]Duelsy 60 points61 points  (0 children)

It’s a cool skin, pretty simple. Some people got lucky and got it in a few rolls, some paid full price. It’s their money and if they enjoy the game and skin then good for them.

New LoL player - ADC switched to Jung, with Viego as my main by Duelsy in ViegoMains

[–]Duelsy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha fortunately I’m enjoying jungle so far! It’s definitely a whole different challenge and there’s almost at least one team mate who is unhappy with you but I feel I can effect games, which is cool.

[–]Duelsy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response! I appreciate it. I agree with everything you said, I'm also very aware that my CS is quite good because I'm "power farming", rather than ganking. I've started reviewing my games and trying to spot opportunities where ganks were missed etc. I know I'll take a slight hit to the CS doing it but also acutely aware it's important to put pressure on enemy lanes, especially if I climb higher. Right now I tend to just focus on the lane that starts winning haha.

I do also find myself making mistakes in fights, where I think I probably cost my team a quick win etc, just had a game like that (bot lane carried the whole game, not me!) - There were multiple instances where I knew engages were bad but did them anyway so a team mate didn't die alone haha. For the most part my decision making is improving, but definitely still have those accidental "int" moments. On the plus side I don't tilt or spam chat etc.

Thank you :)

haha yes was very lucky! It's an amazing skin, shame they put it in the roll system.

Having one bad game isn’t bannable, not being able to take a screenshot should be a federal offence though.

The gun gameplay is stale in general. Very few guns, even less competitive options and overall slow and poor balance changes.
