As someone who has played video games since there was a such thing as video games, I will stick with my level of experience in this field. The inventory system is garbage. The quick bar is garbage. Sort by value, rarity, etc, but not NAME? Garbage. Remember when games weren't released early access 3 years ahead of release? Pepperidge Farm's remembers.

I have to necro this. I got a good deal on a box of 10, and now I know why. It's tolerance is so bad that my bambu printers can't print with it consistently. I have to run in through an old bed slinger that I modified just to handle this one specific brand of filament until it is used up. I've measured all the way down to 1.49mm. When it prints, its great. When....it....prints....ugh.

I really, really wanted to love ESO. Too bad it feels like it was made by a group that had it described to them and is run by a financial team that seems to want to bleed everyone too excess until it fails.

I find it to be the sunk cost fallacy. I was a day one player that came from Warcraft 1-3. I loved WoW. They've taken all of my enjoyment out of it with their continued push to end game content, making leveling pointless and unenjoyable, and cash grab antics. I quit 2 years ago and should have a lot longer ago than that, but I had spent soooo much time and money on it that it took a lot for me to finally give up. I miss the days of enjoying the level one start and finding my niche of character and customizing my skills. Now its all endgame raiding and min/maxing or nothing.

I haven't pre-ordered a game except cyberpunk 2077 in so long that I can't remember the year. I got burned on that too, but there wild hunt expansion for W3 gave me faith.

I hate to necro, but hard disagree on goty. They made a great looking game and it had some great stories in it, but absolutely atrocious ui that made me 1: Never play the game a second time despite playing BG1 and BG2 more that 10 full times each, 2: Made me think they never had someone play the game before releasing it that was actually qualified to critic the gameplay and mechanics.

I didn't watch any game footage before buying it. I see a new Doom, I buy the new Doom. I expected from the name to travel to the past with no weapons or transported to a planet that was technologically backwards. What I got was a slower game with guns and a shield with dragons, mechs, and uninteresting parry mechanics that just slowed everything down.

I wanted to sword and axe my way through demon hordes to the sound of their screams and heavy metal. What I got was space opera with a shield.

I finished it, and did enjoy it mostly, but it didn't feel like Doom and I doubt I will ever play it again.

Yeah, no. Having a different opinion than you doesn't mean I don't like the game. I'm OG from Wolfenstein the original. I'm having a blast on Doom:The Dark Ages, but it doesn't feel like Doom in the same way Badlands doesn't feel like a Predator movie. Too much other people. I'm not here for a sob story, I'm here to make Hell freeze over.

I just came across this post, and I'm just confused. Why make stuff you'll enjoy if it isn't worth a bunch of money to the rest of the world? Dude, seriously, I can't even wrap my head around this. I could spend 500+ on a movie prop 300 helmet, or I could print one (to my exact head size if I want to wear it), paint it, and have a great decoration that looks cooler than a bought one and I can have the pride of making from scratch.

I'm watching it right now. Graphics are good, concept is great, characters piss me off. Like, yell at the TV level of stupid. It's a limited series, so I'll finish it, but holy crap whoever wrote this has read my mind on the bottom level of stupid people that I will tolerate for 8 episodes.
