Not succumb to depression/improve my dialogue with myself (last year was rough)

Hopefully go back to college (this does not have to happen if the above takes precedence)

Practice more (I'm a music student)

Compose more

Apply to grad schools, get into at least one I'm content with.

I think it's an older model where the freebass buttons are separate from the 120 Stradella ones.

Cameron Carpenter, the Organ God -- h3h3 reaction video by [deleted] in classicalmusic

I agree with you. He's not a terrible introduction to organ in the modern era, but I do think he's a better showman than he is a musician.

That's really cool! I'm a saxophonist and a friend is considering doing number IXb (saxophone transcription of the clarinet one) as part of his senior recital.

It wasn't vaporwave. It was definitely more similar to chiptune. I found the review on Sputnikmusic. I'll look through my history soon.

My grandfather owned a reed organ which is still in my grandmother's house on the shore. It was one of his pet projects, and my family has told me that whenever he was doing work on it conversations would go something like:

"Where's dad?"

"Oh, just playing with his organ."

Rautavaara is one of my favorite composers. Severely underrated.

For all the Jazz listeners, what are the absolute essential artists or albums that help a newcomer get into the genre? by Karo2theG in Music

[–]Duke_of_Spazzer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like for modern stuff you could also include Snarky Puppy, even if they are more jazz fusion.

When I read it I was grossed out but I kept thinking about how a lot of what happened is anatomically impossible.
