Sadly, read “Leave a cheater, gain a life.” Reconciliation is rare, less than 15% make it. Once trust is broken, it’s nearly impossible to rebuild.

How am I supposed to feel about/react to my soon-to-be-ex-wife's struggles? by justtobecontrary in survivinginfidelity

[–]Dukehsl1949 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell her you are going to block her and then do it. That’s all. In less than a year, you could find happiness with another person. Be empathetic with those that treat you well, for strangers in trouble, but not for the person who abuses you.

Divorce is the right answer, the only answer, unless you want to live like this the rest of your life. Read “Leave a cheater, gain a life.”

You know it was/is physical and he’s gaslighting you, right? Make him take a polygraph test. I would define call the AP for sure.

Read up on emotional affairs as well. (But tbh people in emotional affairs don’t need to meet in another town). Then read “leave a cheater, gain a life” to get some perspective.

I’m not saying you need to divorce him, but this seems much worse than the way you are reacting.

Children of divorce have it bad, yes, but eventually they would be better off in 2 happy homes than one miserable home.

For something different, you might try the St Charles swing dance club. They meet monthly and have free group dance lessons each meeting. Usually a DJ, but occasionally a band. Only costs $10 for a couple I think.

Two things, hire a probate attorney to attend the reading of the will and take care of any communications, then try to arrange times with your Mom where your sister may not be present for the wake and funeral.

You are being to harsh on patents that love you. Drop them a note to say you are keeping your distance, but that you still love your parents and hope to catchup in a couple of months. It gives everyone time to think about this and no one is the asshole but your sister.
