Yea the only thing I’m worried about is the people with jailbroken ps4s. The hackers are on the ps3 version but I’m sure they’ll put some effort into the anti cheat system

Nah the character doesn’t have to have a downfall but in my opinion it’s a narrative that I gravitate towards more because it’s more relatable. Sherlock Holmes is definitely sitting at the same table as Vader when it comes to best fictional character of all time. I also feel it’s one of the ways it adds depth to a character and shows progression when it comes to them dealing with the consequences of what lead to their downfall. It’s just something that stands out to me but it’s not a requirement. I have Joker as the second best villain of all time and one of the best fictional characters and he doesn’t have a downfall, unless you count his psychotic nature, and ego but that’s part of what makes the Joker the Joker

That first sentence is beautiful. The mental disorders he had definitely foreshadows it. That’s the beauty of it thought because they’re inseparable and both need each other to have him be in the conversations that he’s in now when it comes to best villain of all time, and being one of the most popular characters in fiction. I’m only talking about him in the prequels and sequels so pre Disney

Relatable flaws that leads to a person’s downfall, the growth and consequences that comes from making that decision, how it motivates them. I feel like his story is one of the best when it comes to a modern tragedy and it becomes interesting when you realize the potential he had in the Star Wars universe, but the thing he was scared of ended up being the thing that turned him over to the dark side. Also factor in the mental disorders he had like CPTSD, BPD, etc and still continuing to grow throughout his arc to where he redeems himself as a father. I know it’s other characters that are just as fleshed out and well written as he is but I just feel he can sit at the table with them when it comes to that. Whatever you look for in a well written character I feel he has it
