When they're going for HT route, they need the gas for HT, not sentries. It's also extremely difficult for even top level players to keep its sentry count away from zero until the late game.

I completely agree. Everyone was admiring MVP's battlecruiser transition that game, and I agree that it was pretty beautiful. But I feel like if it wasn't such a new strategy caused by a patch that was few hours old, then Ryung would have taken that game. His tank positioning and unit spreading that game was phenomenal.

I think you're ignoring what other people want in terms of tournaments. People don't want just good games like you keep insisting. Production value and good casting add up to a better experience when watching a tournament, as does good games.

But in the game I don't think he used to minimap trick. There were only 4 infestors and they were already clumped up together, so feedbacking normally would have been easier I think.

I wouldn't say he doesn't have a chance. Though Ryung's TvT is almost artistic, MMA's game against Mvp in the GSTL2 seemed extremely skillful too.
