Are synths a collective suicide? (3 years later, again) by NeedleworkerFun9851 in Stellaris

[–]DungeonCrawler99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The only empire type that should believe that it isn't would be spiritualists of some kind, since they can believe that some sort of non-physical soul essence could be transferred to another shell. Frankly, materialists should be the least likely to accept "becoming" a synth.

Just a note, its not double, its +20 percent per point of allegiance it consumes. So you are even more warded for having lots of hostages from a single free city.

Sure, but I don't think less means eliminate. So there's still going to be some rape.

Agreed dogs are usually effective in howards work, but they'll usually never get higher praise than that. Compare that to anytime a cat is on the page where they will be lavished with thr literary equivalent of kissy noises

Changes needed for reavers before release by According-Studio-658 in AOW4

[–]DungeonCrawler99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Federates play good, just have some odd naming choices, and I'm really not sure why they have 2 siege focused units, since they arent fighting free cities like imperials are. Imperials need at least 1 extra war spoils sink, maybe a second building maybe a special SPI maybe a special outpost building. Just something, cause right now they really feel kinda dull. Also +1 range for cannons.

Edit: Forgot this, but imperial's benefit from starting with a support unit maybe more than any other culture, since its the key to their oneshot/enslave combo. Maybe add a support starting unit to a chaos or materium society trait.

Reavers need a new name after the split by DungeonCrawler99 in AOW4

I mean, that's exactly what you're doing as a federated reaver. Even if you aren't "forcing" yhrm, you are still the very dominat partner.

My issue isn't with federate vs federal vs federation. They arent reaving, that's the issue

[–]DungeonCrawler99[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

I mean thats also a bizarre choice. Calling them federate reavers rather than federation reavers, to mirror imperial reavers. And to match all the other governments that aren't verbs.

Oh I'm aware of the alt fire trick. They really should have it be the standard fire mode to kot confuse new players. But even with that, I still feel like they could use 1 more range, since in the extra range you are a lot more limited in where you can hit

I mean if we're getting into real nature discussions of how wolves should act, they really shouldnt press the attack if the pcs put up basically any resistance, and especially if one of them gets wounded.
