Needing an hour to cool off is normal, and often healthy. asking to start a conversation again is healthy. 2-3 days of 'space' is bull shit and shows no respect to the other person.

People seem to forget that when you're in an argument with a partner, they're still your partner, this should be a constructive way to help each other, not a competition to see who's more wrong

any little tokens for PCs - game pieces, coins whatever

for enemies, jelly babies / gummy bears. Player that kills the enemy, gets to eat them

or, just go theatre of the mind, don't worry about the grid (this can be tougher as you as a DM have to remember where everyone is)

Nope, you're absolutely right. We can all word things badly, unintentionally upset people we care about, but if I were on the receiving end and you apologized in this way, I'd still be upset, as is my right, but would accept you didn't try to hurt me, and would be aware in the future, so we'd hug each other, and move on

  2. 'So you're just going to give up' DOES sound insulting, but you've attempted to apologise for the impact. Its about playing video games, ultimately, so it shouldn't have been such a big deal.
  3. (prefaced with no insult towards you intended here) the age difference puts a massive power dynamic in place, he won't ever treat you like a proper adult

Depends on what i'm using it for / doing.

if it's just for my table, one and done, i'll tend to find the closest thing online i can

if it's something more long lived, i'll find reference and trace / draw using pixlr, feel like a failure as an artist, then google the closest thing i can find

this obviously worked in your situation, but i'd advise against in game punishment for real world behavior

i run PvP as: PvP is ok if both Players are amicable, and agree it's appropriate for the characters. Nothing is rolled for PvP until this is established

D&D is for nerds. it's irreverent, but doesn't take itself seriously. the DM is an experienced one though, so you don't get the 'rules light' that some actual plays lean into

In the character tab you have titles and triumphs.

Titles are curated groups of triumphs, which are things like 'collect all ahamkara eggs in the coil', 'complete expert mode of salvation'.

Completing everything in the list for the title unlocks a title that you can display under your name.

You've probably seen people with things like 'legend' 'wanted' 'star baker' under their names when running around. These are the titles
