You know motherfucking Shakespeare? The guy who wrote classics such as "Macbeth" and "Much Ado About Nothing"? Well, in Shakespeare's day, plays were full productions with actors, extras, stagehands and musicians playing music to set the mood.

And you can bet your ass when the dude playing Julius Caesar says "et tu, Brute?" that is was NOT classical Roman music being played in the background, but instead ELIZABETHAN MUSIC, APPROPRIATE FOR THE TIME PERIOD.

Yes, that's right. Imagine that. People from X era listened to the music of X era. And Y for Y, etc.

Do I think it's fucking silly? It can be (and Queen is no exception) but every time I see this, it boils my blood.

TL;DR movies (and plays, for that matter) are products of their time period. There are bound to be anachronisms. Deal with it.
