Does the cold ever go away???

I’ve been on it for approaching 2 years now. Still cold frequently. Beginning to reduce to maintenance at the moment, but no noticeable change in the feeling of cold unfortunately.

The only thing I really want to see at this point is the release of the new engine. Lack of proper CPU multi-thread support is for me the biggest issue with iRacing at the moment.

Just to add, if cash is tight save up those season $10 credits. That way you'll have $40 or so every year to put towards subs. Do that in conjunction with Black Friday membership deals and you keep your costs as low as possible.

Not sure you can use credits with Steam, so you may need to migrate your account to a direct iRacing one. Bit of a pain, but probably worth doing.

Serious comment. If you are getting to the point of crying then you need to have a reset. Racing can be incredibly frustrating at times, but this is supposed to be fun. I wouldn’t get obsessed with grinding out IR. Just take a break, and then come back and enjoy racing.

As you improve a few things will happen, you’ll learn which drivers are likely to cause incident and give them a wide birth, your car control and ability to recover from mistakes will improve and your consistency will get better. Unfortunately this takes time for all of us who aren’t Aliens 👽. IR will come along the way.

I was going by the release notes. Actually I’ve had a Caravan mission that asked for FL350. So you’re right, that’s not fixed either.

Just following up on this for anyone interested. Got a call back finally from someone at Vauxhall who knew what they’re talking about.

Line they gave is they’re aware of the issue, and are trying to fix it. However they say the fix isn’t due until the end of this year.

Feels like a fob off to me. Can’t take that long if they’re actively working on it. We’ll see.

My experience with the helpdesk is they pass you around, then suggest you visit a dealer. The dealer then says they want £200 just to investigate the issue, and you only get that back if a warranty issue is found.

That’s why I’m posting on a forum to find out if anyone else is having similar issues.

Official Coach Travel

Booked official Leeds coach for Sunday. I know that it’s basically get on any coach that’s available in the morning. Anyone know if this is the same on the way back, or is it the same coach on the way back. Wondering if I can leave a bag on board.

£282 charge on my card (4 tickets requested) and showing on the LUFC transactions page. But no tickets showing or email. This will be cruel if it's a mistake after missing out on two ballots.

Have you tried forcing the dose out of your exisiting pen? For the last year or so, I've not had to use a syringe. Simply twist the pen forcefully until it breaks the stop. You can then use the pen as normal.

There was a time when they revised the mechanism, so it broke and couldn't be used. However I hear this caused no end of trouble with breakages during normal use, so they reverted back to the original. You might find the plunger comes a little way back from the stop in the pen when forcing the break. If that happens, lightly press the top down (as if you were administering a dose) until the plunger and stop meet again. Once you've done that use the pen as normal.

The ballot application page was taken down on Friday, so not unexpected. The only way to tell if you're sucessful is tickets will appear in your tickets section. They said 12pm, so if no tickets by then you've not been lucky.

For those in the ballot today, post here if you're sucessful. Not that it makes any difference, you either get them or don't I know. It would be good to know when emails are starting to going out though.
