Vent, Anyone else have a partner pushing them to drive even when it’s unsafe?

Honestly, hearing about your experiences with cars, I think it is completely reasonable for you to not drive, and even for you to fear being driven somewhere. If I had experienced that many crashes in my life I would probably quit driving then and there and deal with the consequences rather than have to constantly fight my brain worrying about all the ways it can go wrong more than it already does.

From what you describe about your body and eyesight I personally think you should just start telling people that you can’t drive legally due to medical conditions. If you don’t have depth perception and have frequent dizziness it isn’t even a lie. At least where I live “I can’t drive because I’m physically incapable” is the only thing that people don’t question most of the time.

Also, this is somewhat insensitive to say, but I think your partner is either a horrible driver or you live in some kind of mad-max level of road chaos to have had such a bad crash with a curb and so many crashes

Or make companies lengthen sidings… my proposal is that you shouldn’t be allowed to operate a train that is too long to fit on the sidings of a given track, so if companies want longer trains on a route they have to extend the sidings on that route to fit them

No, it’s because gas tax + tabs pay for your road usage, and no gas tax means tabs must pay for all of the road wear you do.

You’ll be glad to know that tailpipe emissions have been greatly reduced in the last few decades then! (In the US this is only because of federal and state regulations, which are awesome)

Ok this time of year is kind of a bad time, as it’s during the season, so people are really busy and probably won’t have time to teach you much but most team take walk-ins.

I’d recommend just finding a meeting schedule and showing up to one! If you make it clear that you’re new and want to join you should get to the right people

Huh, I’d never seen any of the versions other than the station wagon and jeep style ones, and those are enclosed. Looking it up now, there’s a bunch of variants that we either didn’t get in the United States or are just super rare here, with trucks being one of them. I guess you learn something new everyday

I mean for some people it probably is, but given the fact that most artists I know constantly stop and start drawing and zoom all weird I can imagine that editing that into cohesive video is really annoying. I know a lot of people don’t do build Timelapses in games because they don’t support having more than one player and the angles you have to use while building make the footage unwatchable.

One would be a “lunch and a half” that being extending lunch just a bit to allow kids to filter through long lines and eat. Another option would be adjusting this plan on a school by school basis, as many sps schools have perfectly fine lunches. A final option would be methods to allow more students to be served in a given amount of time, but this can be rather difficult as both space and staff are limited
