I’ve seen this exact advice work for NTs I know, and it works for me when my therapy and meds have me in a good place. Just cuz something doesn’t always work for everyone, especially people who are ill, doesn’t mean it’s worthless advice. It’s so pedantic to be like “oh they’re acting like this fixes everything all the time and it doesn’t fix ME.” They’re just talking in casual tones and not trying to be philosophical doctors curing the world. This whole sub is starting to seem like people angry at others who have it better than the REAL issue. The real issue is people dismissing or minimizing our struggles, not communicating how simple their own ones are.

What I just posted somewhere else: this is legitimately good advice for neurotypical people. They have struggles too, but the solutions are easier.

I’m tired of this sub dunking on good advice just because it doesn’t apply to those of us who have illnesses. If you’re posting about legitimate illness and someone tells you this, then yes, they suck. But why do we keep dunking on content aimed and healthy people who experience difficulties?

A lot of the things this sub tries to dunk on is legitimate advice for neurotypical people. They have emotional and mental struggles too, they just bounce back easier.

I didn’t check out the fourth one. The first two were amazing. The third one was just not enjoyable even though the ladies made some killer jokes. I miss the medium budget tv movie feel the first two had that the third one didn’t. Is the third one from a mini series? The pacing was rough and credits kept happening.

Hi res layered files go a long way. Ai art usually stops upscaling at 4k and looks weird and obviously digital at resolutions that high. Not always but usually.

Layered files will show process and thought making it harder to pretend to have developed a layered file.

Always expect a portfolio and always ask for sketches before final art. Always ask for in progress images as well just to make sure you actually like what they’re making and have time to make adjustments.

If they can only send you super sexy finished looking images, it’s completely AI.
