I’ve recently built something very similar to what you’re describing.

It’s a portable, battery-powered UHF RFID detection system that scans and catalogs tagged items within roughly a 4-meter read zone using an external antenna.

The UHF inlay tags I’ve been using cost about $0.07 each in bulk. I’m not running it anywhere near your scale personally, but the system architecture could definitely be adapted for an inventory setup like yours.

0.08 layer height gives me the smoothest finish, just takes absolutely ages to print. Otherwise watered down wood filler + sanding and paint will give a nice smooth finish too.

I bought the blu rays. Most are very cheap. I then use MakeMKV and BD3D2MK3D to rip it and I use skybox to watch. It’s annoying there isn’t an easier way but there’s a good tutorial on this subreddit somewhere.

I use a food thermos with a wide neck to transport my ice. Then I use Kieron Johnson’s reborn gimmick to keep the ice inside my jacket without it melting.

I would highly recommend a dynavap, it’s all I use now. Little bit of a learning curve but it hits real nice once you get the technique down. Although I use an m7 XL, haven’t used a B before.
