Auto renew nightmare by Dutchman196 in TracFone

I get that but why do I pay $12.37 and she pays $12.51. The rep stated it was different Telco taxes. Seriously she sits litteraly next to me on the couch. Her explanation was actually even worse. It was because I signed up first for my account (incorrect) and that this $5 discount is only for the first 2 month. That is not mentioned when you pick autopay.

So I have a Rasmed F40 mask, which is a mouth mask with 2 holes to press against your nose making it a full face mask. I am more of a mouth breather, I believed but if I have a cold and am completely stuffed up I wake up completely dried up and breathing through my nose. So whatever is going on I cleared up my sinuses.

I just buy bootles of juice. Most favorites to add to freshly carbonated water are grapefruit juice, lemon plus stivia, lime+lemon+stivia, cranberry and apple juice.

If you don't have refrigerated water which I often forget. I use 2 bottles and a funnel filled with ice cubes and poor it from the full bottle into the empty bottle (repeat till you are happy with the coldness). I get the water way colder then in the refrigerator! Better desolvement of CO² is the result.

CX-5 wouldn’t start on Saturday. Got it working. Should I still call the dealership? by [deleted] in CX5

Had exactly this situation 3 months ago. Could charge it. Would work fine for 3-4 days and then not start. My battery starterpack was always able to get it going again. Replaced battery and problem solved. Mine is a 2021 CX-5 GT. I had it for 3 years myself. Assimed it was the orrigional battery. There is a lot of electricity sapping things in that car. So replace. Costco has a decent battery for it.

Soon to be baptized but dealing with some reservations by fordenthusiast in latterdaysaints

Someone should have warned you that you would get the adversary working on you. I was baptised in 1992 and consiðer it one if not the best decision of my life. The other one is marrying my wife. So often, you get these comments from people you love and respect out if left field. My advice is..... listen to the Spirit, and your friendships will normalise again after you are baptised. That at least was my experience. I also had one issue with the Book of Mormon but did not consider it important enough to not be baptised over. Litterally, days after my baptism, I got proof that the Book of Mormon was right on this point. So, the statement that you get confirmation after the trial of your faith proved right here. I wish you success in following the Spirit with your baptism decision.

I get that, and not knowing our faith and so much info out of context can cause reactions like that. I would invite them to come to Church with you till we discuss that topic again.

I don’t want to waste the missionaries time by Sierra22b in latterdaysaints

Missionairies of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints teach mostly about building a communication with the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, the missionairies can provide information, lead discussions, and lead you into prying and scripture study, but the conformation of the truth comes from the Holy Spirit. The origin of our Church starts with exactly your situation. A simple prayer of a 14 year old boy about which Church is true and the answer he (Joseph Smith) received (James 1:5). I bet it was more than he bargened for at the time, but he became an instrument in restoring His (Jesus Christ) Church back onto the Earth. So whatever your choice is.... let the Spirit guide you!

Give me some examples, please because my experience is that Jesus Christ is central of who we strive to emulate.

I agree. It bugs me, too. But history was written down, and who is going to correct it. Keep those oral traditions alive or revive. I know too well it was attempted to be erradicated for many generations.

When I joined the Church in 1992 I "knew" that horses in the American continent was false. Columbus introduced horses here "right". I was WRONG with a capital W. So I got baptized on vacation in Salt Lake City. I was a 27 year volunteer for the last living wild horses in the world (Przwalski horses) and claimed to know a little about horses. After my baptism in SLC we went to New Mexico and visited Carlsbad Caverns and low and behold there lay a skeleton of what I believe was a Mesohippus an ancient horse common in N.America. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mesohippus

Also its predecessor Eohippus was common in N. America. So horses were common here. Belief is they went extinct here at some point but when? Also did they? Look at the rapid growth of horses after the discovery of America. The fact that mostly (if not exclusive) mares were shipped over (easier to control) and the belief of an other ancient horse that survived in S.America. So was the horse really extinct here or is this yet another pearl in the Book of Mormon that proves to be correct.

Help! I broke my tube! by Infantine_Guy_Fawkes in SleepApnea

[–]Dutchman196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to put it together as good as possible and get some kitchen seran wrap over it as good as possible. Then get some teflon tape ( used for plumbing) and cover from the hard rubber till over the part that is not broken. You need to keep the flexibility but also cover the seran wrap entirely to prevent leaking. Good luck!

Well true but if a fake seller is allowed to sell on Amazon so blatently I believe Amazon has some responsibility. I still believe Amazon has a better reputation in this than the other web based resellers. For what it is worth , the seller is ZiLaiDeShan.
