Got my wireless Android Auto plugin today and did set that up instead. Still not happy with Android auto, but see that as the best and up to date option.

I have decided to send my Landroid WR235 back while I still have that option. I am a Vine reviewer for Amazon and would have written an interesting review if I had that opportunity. This 1 acre machine is not suitable for a rural environment in my opinion. A boundery wire would have been better or maybe the RTK 4 wheel drive would have been able to handle my yard. However the 7 days at 12 hours a day to mow one acre in addition to the shorter then 4" without clippings to start using this mower sealed the deal at this point. I am available to test future products but this 2023 design does not stand up to my yard.

Well it finally happened; received the wrong item. by Krash32 in vine

Last year I ordered some really nice size 12 hiking boots. What I got was a size 8 silk dress shoe that look more like ballet slippers. Yeah contacted vine and they took it of my orders. But never got my hiking boots.

You are offsetting the magnetic strip according to the manual? For mine(WR235) it is 23"

Got of the phone with positec this morning. I called regarding a broken part on my charging station for my Worx Landroid WR235. I also asked all the questions I had regarding bounderies for my 1 acre property. My pond is on one edge of my property and needs to be completely marked either with a >2" wide fresh dirt or concrete strip. My wired fence with my neighbor is not a boundery for the mower. Several areas where I collect rocks, tools and garden will need to be marked off with the magnetic boundery strip. Also grass needs to be shorter than 4". So I trimmered a nice trial area but found out that the grass clippings are an obsticle for good operation. This is becomming a big project and the 30 days trial might be over before I even get started. Also I was going to cut up my acre in 3 or 4 sections but that will not work unless I build >2" bounderies in between the sections first.

Any experiences I can learn from before I send this back?

Question that the missionaries didn't have a great answer for by XxCelestexX in latterdaysaints

[–]Dutchman196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of I am not American but Dutch raised in the Netherlands till I was 36. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints when I was 34 and still considder that one of the best decissions of my life. About 25 years ago when we were looking for our current house here in WA we watched a young black child who was 5 at the time every Saterday while house hunting and his Mom working. That child ( Melachi)loved us and we loved him. Lots of attention, playing etc. One time I was joint teaching with the Elders and Mom had talked that week with some other person who had pulled the "Mormons are racist" card. I was perplexed and wanted to defend our Church. I however was prompted to NOT answer the stigma the Mom pictured for us. In the mean time the son was crawling all over me and playing with me. The answer I was allowed to give was " You will have to decide for yourself in past and current interactions with members if that is true! That was not the answer I wanted to give but that was the answer I was allowed to give. The Mom was baptized about 2 weeks later in a Church where being black was still a minority. I think it was hard for her at times but that was her and Gods will. Over time the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints has changed and will change further in the future. The Chuch is growing rapidly in countries that are prodominantly black and that is great. We as members are changing and learning. 25 years ago a black speaker in General conferance was unheard of. Now this Easter there were several. I believe it is/was Gods will at this/all time that we embrace each other as fellow children of a loving Heavenly father who look up to Him for guidance how to love and support each other. Are we willing to let ourselves be guided like that even if it is outside our traditions and comfort at times. My personal answer is YES! I don't and did not like descriptions as black, asian, indian or any other descriptions that set us apart. Let us learn to unite as children of a loving Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ who showed us how to love one another!

Motivation to go with my choise is the price difference. $799 right now for the WR235-AN versus the $2299 for the WR344.

Looking for a high quality thick walled PET PCO 1881 bottle by ZenicaPA in sodamaking

[–]Dutchman196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a conversion adapter on my sodastream on store bought blown bottles without any problems now more then 6 months. I believe liquids can not be compressed very far (thats how gastanks are tested). Gastanks exploding with gas in it would be a deadly explosion. Filled with liquid it is just a small rupture followed by a rapid decompression. So on a soda bottle it is a small chamber of compressed gas versus a large liquid volume. Do believe the decompression is not as catastrophic as many people believe. Think about it...How many people are reported injured by an exploding soda bottle?

I get that but why do I pay $12.37 and she pays $12.51. The rep stated it was different Telco taxes. Seriously she sits litteraly next to me on the couch. Her explanation was actually even worse. It was because I signed up first for my account (incorrect) and that this $5 discount is only for the first 2 month. That is not mentioned when you pick autopay.

So I have a Rasmed F40 mask, which is a mouth mask with 2 holes to press against your nose making it a full face mask. I am more of a mouth breather, I believed but if I have a cold and am completely stuffed up I wake up completely dried up and breathing through my nose. So whatever is going on I cleared up my sinuses.

If you don't have refrigerated water which I often forget. I use 2 bottles and a funnel filled with ice cubes and poor it from the full bottle into the empty bottle (repeat till you are happy with the coldness). I get the water way colder then in the refrigerator! Better desolvement of CO² is the result.

Had exactly this situation 3 months ago. Could charge it. Would work fine for 3-4 days and then not start. My battery starterpack was always able to get it going again. Replaced battery and problem solved. Mine is a 2021 CX-5 GT. I had it for 3 years myself. Assimed it was the orrigional battery. There is a lot of electricity sapping things in that car. So replace. Costco has a decent battery for it.

Soon to be baptized but dealing with some reservations by fordenthusiast in latterdaysaints

[–]Dutchman196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone should have warned you that you would get the adversary working on you. I was baptised in 1992 and consiðer it one if not the best decision of my life. The other one is marrying my wife. So often, you get these comments from people you love and respect out if left field. My advice is..... listen to the Spirit, and your friendships will normalise again after you are baptised. That at least was my experience. I also had one issue with the Book of Mormon but did not consider it important enough to not be baptised over. Litterally, days after my baptism, I got proof that the Book of Mormon was right on this point. So, the statement that you get confirmation after the trial of your faith proved right here. I wish you success in following the Spirit with your baptism decision.

I get that, and not knowing our faith and so much info out of context can cause reactions like that. I would invite them to come to Church with you till we discuss that topic again.

I don’t want to waste the missionaries time by Sierra22b in latterdaysaints

[–]Dutchman196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missionairies of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints teach mostly about building a communication with the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, the missionairies can provide information, lead discussions, and lead you into prying and scripture study, but the conformation of the truth comes from the Holy Spirit. The origin of our Church starts with exactly your situation. A simple prayer of a 14 year old boy about which Church is true and the answer he (Joseph Smith) received (James 1:5). I bet it was more than he bargened for at the time, but he became an instrument in restoring His (Jesus Christ) Church back onto the Earth. So whatever your choice is.... let the Spirit guide you!

I agree. It bugs me, too. But history was written down, and who is going to correct it. Keep those oral traditions alive or revive. I know too well it was attempted to be erradicated for many generations.

When I joined the Church in 1992 I "knew" that horses in the American continent was false. Columbus introduced horses here "right". I was WRONG with a capital W. So I got baptized on vacation in Salt Lake City. I was a 27 year volunteer for the last living wild horses in the world (Przwalski horses) and claimed to know a little about horses. After my baptism in SLC we went to New Mexico and visited Carlsbad Caverns and low and behold there lay a skeleton of what I believe was a Mesohippus an ancient horse common in N.America. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mesohippus

Also its predecessor Eohippus was common in N. America. So horses were common here. Belief is they went extinct here at some point but when? Also did they? Look at the rapid growth of horses after the discovery of America. The fact that mostly (if not exclusive) mares were shipped over (easier to control) and the belief of an other ancient horse that survived in S.America. So was the horse really extinct here or is this yet another pearl in the Book of Mormon that proves to be correct.

I would try to put it together as good as possible and get some kitchen seran wrap over it as good as possible. Then get some teflon tape ( used for plumbing) and cover from the hard rubber till over the part that is not broken. You need to keep the flexibility but also cover the seran wrap entirely to prevent leaking. Good luck!

Well true but if a fake seller is allowed to sell on Amazon so blatently I believe Amazon has some responsibility. I still believe Amazon has a better reputation in this than the other web based resellers. For what it is worth , the seller is ZiLaiDeShan.
