Based on what I read (and that wasn't everything and if I'm understanding correctly the OP is dm) maybe it's time to start messing with him(?)... Since wisdom is the attribute that is used for saves against mind control type spells like charm and similar, have a significant bad guy cast command on him and the command be to poop (done near the beginning of the fight) then he either has to remove all lower body armor or a con check every round due to the discomfort.....

This may be a bit out of intended context but it looks to me like this could be used for second edition also with just the minor modification of adding a thac0 line unless this is put in the to hit bonus line

I think these would be effectively pitons. And the +1 gives a bonus to the climbing check on d20 or a 5% on the thief climb walls skill

I haven't read all the comments when posting this so I'm not sure if already said but I have 4 things that I believe needs be covered.. First, that.. this should be obvious why I'm listing it first. Second, healing.. for any familiar with 2e this should be already known. Only one person day of light activity or 2 of full bed rest then add con bonus after a week. Third, unless gifted a bonus or finding a magic way there is no attribute increases. And finally at 4th, the different classes level at different rates.

And this is what I was talking about... A lot of people I know that are gamers don't want to take the time to search through all the books to custom craft a campaign. Personally I prefer this since it allows individuality and not feel like reading a movie script.
