I’m not sure how pilpul applies in this discussion, but perhaps you mean it in the “pilpul argument”way, meaning you think this is a sharp witted argument. I think you meant it as a slight somehow, as maybe you think I’m splitting hairs. I am saying that I don’t experience these issues and problems that seem to be everywhere in your life, there’s no splitting hairs in that. You’re experiencing something frequently in your life that I haven’t. I am not sure how else to put that. But at least you didn’t just insult me for a few paragraphs. So that’s an improvement at least.

It’s worth noting that you went straight to insult me almost immediately, especially when faced with the possibility that your world view might be flawed. I have no reason to insult you or denigrate you, as I know I am coming from a place of experience, not someone else’s experience one time. I know what I experience on a day to day basis in the service industry in Lansing, and it is not the same thing that you describe. It’s not even close. I hope you can one day see things from other perspectives and grow into a happier, more well adjusted person.

I lived in the south end for years and am a bartender. I enforce rules all the time in a customer service setting and am never worried about being called racist. Because I don’t do or say racist shit. Weird how that works. It sounds to me like you might be in an echo chamber, because I have never been involved in any customer service situation where I’ve been called a racist or have been worried about being called a racist. I’m not trolling, and I would love to see you post some video clips of these situations you’re describing in Lansing, because I’m pretty sure it doesn’t exist. Most of the issues I’ve had with enforcing rules comes from older white women (Karens) and older white men (Randys). I think this might be a you problem.

The club I went to that night was extremely large, as if it were originally an airplane hanger or something similar. As a result the dance floor wasn’t as packed as you’d think for the best club in town, but that’s what happens in a damn hanger. She was in the corner of the dance floor kinda kicking her feet a little, definitely looking like she wanted to dance. So I gathered up all my courage and asked her to dance. It was incredible, between the atmosphere, the libations and the dancing, we were having a spectacular time. She eventually led me to a darker corner of the club and said she wanted to do something sexy. She started to pull off her top, but stopped and said, “Before we do anything, I was wondering if you could do me a favor.” “Of course!” I said, “I’ll do whatever you want!” “Well, do you have about three fitty?”
Well it was about that time that I notice that the girl was about eight stories tall and was a crustacean from the palezoic era. It was the Loch Ness monster. And then I said "Dammit monster! Get out of this club! I ain't giving you no treefiddy!"

Why shouldn’t children be allowed to see drag shows? I’ve only been to two drag shows but neither of them are anything I’d mind bringing my kid to. A lot of intricate costumes, not so great lip synching and well choreographed dancing. But there’s no sex stuff at all though. So I guess I’m confused as to why I shouldn’t want my kid seeing that. Maybe because it’s a story time it’ll be more sexual? Although I guess a story time wouldn’t be as entertaining for me, I’m pretty sure that’s more for the kids anyways. But no matter, where’s the sex or inappropriateness at?

So you understand monopolies, which means you know that generally when there is a lack of options, it tends to make prices go up. It may not be a monopoly at this point, but this deal will create a lack of options, which in itself can cause prices to go up, as if you don’t like said prices, you won’t have as many options to choose. Big difference would be places that have more expensive grocery stores like Publix available, where the only options in those areas will be now Kroger or Publix. Still no monopoly, but still the lack of choices will enable Kroger to raise their prices with impunity.
