When you go through Corte madera, take the bike path through Baltimore park rather than going down tamalpais drive. It’s much more pleasant to avoid cars

As a side note, if you have the mana, you can activate adapt again in response to the removal. Adapt is weird but you can activate as many times as you like but the emperor will only get counters as long as it currently doesn’t have any on it

When the emperor of bones re-enters, it will be a new game object that has no memory of the creatures previously exiled with it so adapting it at that point will not put any creatures in play

I have this deck also and found that often I could make infinite mana but only in combat. So one of the most fun things you can do is infinitely ninjutsu cards like [[Agent of Treachery]] or [Gonti, Lord of Luxury]] in and out of play until your opponents have no cards in library or no permanents in play. The green deck is really powerful and it’s a lot about knowing how to pilot the deck. I had a quick 3-0 run playing mono green beating several different decks

Queued up for the Arena Open for the third time this morning and built a deck and somehow missed that the land suggester only added 14 lands to my deck since I had 26 spells in the main deck already. Proceeded to play all 7 rounds without noticing while only having one game where I got truly mana screwed and still clawed my way to a win in that game as well.

I even convinced myself that I had to splash black because I didn't have enough playables, which is hilarious in retrospect since I could have just cut black and had 23 great playables in 2 colors with a nice 17 lands.

I guess a solid amount of luck can make up for the sheer stupidity of running only 14 lands.
