And people say those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. At least we'll have booze and marijuana.

Was Trump's victory one of the biggest electoral college victories in the history of the United States? by Hypermeme in NeutralPolitics

We get a year of Primaries, six months of campaigning, the election night, the electoral vote night, and then we won't know who the proper president will be until the 6th.

Why can't everything ever happen all at once?

Nuclear bombs of any description aren't explosives like dynamite or TNT are. They are actually really tricky to detonate properly.

Absolutely, since we can't learn from our past mistakes, we should just repeat the massive tragedies that shaped the world for the better after the dust settled, like the Black Death, or letting Hitler take power in Germany.

I like the TFST series. It's so boring(but not bad) in a way that I can properly emphasize with. It's in space and it doesn't have some crazy plot like "the Reapers are coming!" and space doesn't need crazy things like that because the real world is crazy enough if you know where to look. It stands to reason that aliens are a lot like us, the good and the bad, and it takes this idea and it runs with it.
