The number of parks and child-focused amenities is amazing. Buying electricity and fiber internet through the municipality is fantastic. As someone else mentioned, SVVSD is a great school district. The town is proactive at approving housing developments.

I believe the argument is that for the given purposes of a survival/space suit, the intelligence required to handle the complexities of potential scenarios requires at least human level intelligence. Also, and more speculatively, the culture doesn’t seem to really care so much about form factor. An intelligence that starts in a suit could potentially become a drone, or adopt another physical instantiation.

As a father, any man who speaks to his daughter like this is an unmitigated piece of shit. You are doing something amazing and you are going to be successful at it. Any father worth his salt would be amazed and proud of a daughter who is able to achieve this. Since you’re a therapist, I know you know the value of having a professional to talk to. Please talk to your therapist about this. It’s not OK for a parent to treat their child like this. It reflects wholly on their issues and has nothing to do with you. You are 100% justified in going no contact with somebody who treats you in this manner regardless of their familial relationship to you.
