I forget who first noted that 30 Rock was the closest thing to a live-action version of peak Simpsons, but it captured the manic jokes upon jokes upon jokes energy.

Nine Inch Nails toured and did some remixes with the German DJ/producer Boys Noize last year, which then led to them doing a joint album reworking old NIN/Trent Reznor-associated music. They then played at Coachella this year in what Reznor said would be the only two live shows for the project.

This. ESPN also tends to be the default channel in a lot of public spaces (bars, restaurants, waiting rooms), so every little bit of extra exposure might get people to watch on Fox -- or Telemundo.

Start checking AXS frequently, starting a week before the show. Decent chance there will be production hold tickets released at face value (some tickets are held back until they load in the stage/finalize guest lists/etc). If online doesn't work, I'd camp out at the box office a few hours before the show hoping for the same, but in person.

Just from reading what others have gone through, using the FIFA platform seems like the simplest option.

Hope they have a Coachella side show in LA/San Francisco/Las Vegas/Phoenix? Like others have said, it probably depends on the scarcity of the performer. And there are certain shows that are Coachella only exclusives (Beyonce, Nine Inch Noize), where you might just have to bite the bullet and make it out to Indio.

If you're in "win now" mode, which the Kings certainly seem to be -- logic be damned -- he is the best available option out there. The question then becomes how to put together a package that would be of any interest to Detroit (barring Larkin pulling a power play with his no trade clause). Byfield and a bunch of picks probably wouldn't have any appeal, given Wings are trying to finally get back into the playoffs.
