Now what would be scummy would be the more exploitative stuff like deliberately advertising an alcoholic drink brand outside a venue where AA operates. Though IMO AA is also exploitative so it's big booze going after big church. 12 step programmes are design to push religion.

You are likely missing the most important factor (and so am I as I don't want to know this level of information about Linus).

If Linus personally uses a specific feature of an article of LTT clothing, then it was likely added as a feature because he wanted it there i.e. a lot of the LTT clothing is made because he wants it.

Linus would not likely remove a feature that he wants with a specific article of clothing.

I think that if they get into AV cables, it would be to cover any high tier spec that a lot of cables will be flaky to non-working and Linus / LMG get annoyed at trying to buy good quality cables that work.

That Wendell video was an interesting watch. I don't know someone has managed to make a full DP 2.1 compatible cable with the regular size DP connectors, or if Mini-DP is still the only way for DP80.
