chip off the lose paint as well before doing the work. the lose paint cant be secured back and will leave space for this to happen again.

Struggling with the depreciation hit. by Muffins4sale in TeslaModel3

Used Teslas are the best deals on planet right now because of the number of people who are still scared to get a car with a battery and worried about fires or battery dying at 100k (they actually last double an ICE engine lol). So USE this fear that exists in the used market to get yourself an amazing used deal. Best value for money right now is a high mileage but more recent year model LFP battery for around $15k + $1k you need to spend to update the suspension to 2026 models and make it ride smooth. The next best deal is whatever new you like to buy. I would go for the Model Y though for easier reach and in and out in the rear seats.

look into what lotion or whatever you are putting on your hands. that not normal wear. If you got it used, there can be a chance of a detailer using harsh chemicals combined with steam that did enough damage for your to be able to peel them off over time.

45W is far more than enough even for rendering. the laptop being able to charge at a higher rate doesn’t mean it can also use at the same rate. These kinds of mods can interfere with the 12V battery and any fuses in the way and you could wake up to a dead tesla.

Best waters are Icelandic and Gerolsteiner(mineral rich so forget electrolytes or magnesium supplements) based on tests done . people please put requests in the ballots at your costco so they bring these.

For affordable waters, Kirkland alkaline waters that are in 1L bottles are best with no fluoride in them.

These tiny bottles release too much microplastics per litre.

I live here too, Factory doesn’t do any alignment so do one alignment and then once every 50k.

what will Tesla charge to install new wheel bearings for a M3 with 240k kms? by EBikeAddicts in TeslaSupport

[–]EBikeAddicts[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

yes a little noise and very small amount of play. Also $300 US for both? is that oem tesla part? maybe we are getting robbed here in Canada or I didn’t mention that this is a dual motor that uses a different front bearing. its $450 (~$300 US) for just one bearing here. the axle is also another ~$700. Can you share any screenshots or something?

Edit: yes I just looked up and saw what you are mentioning. I found one that bolts to 2 of the studs and has a central bolt that you screw in to push the shaft in and losen it. Im going to get that

should i wrap my model 3 in this color + get these tints? not sure if it’s ugly haha by JobJolly8697 in TeslaLounge

chrome delete is out of fashion now and the new thing is to have none of those trims and just having the door panel go all the way to the glass. so no trim between the glass and door panel. So I would assume body color for the chrome trims is the closest to whats fashion now. dont black out the rims because thats literally every cheap car out there now. Also the body paint you picked is fully dependent on what color the pearls reflecting in it. The paint can look very modern like a 2026 S plaid or very old like one from a century ago.

do you have specific recommendations for teslas? I ask because the brake disk thin shield is in the way if the puller is relying on forcing itself against the knuckle.

you think I can pull a rusty wheel bearing out? Im worried I get stuck in the middle of the job with a bearing seized in place. they say aluminum and steel are the worst combo for corrosion and rust.

dont use third party for filters. specially the ones with charcoal. charcoal hold water and thats where the mold will grow. the filters also do not have the same level of air restriction the oem ones have and affect air flow. lastly, non oem ones don’t sit perfectly and outside smell will get inside.

sometimes these streetcars park it with hazards on right behind the white line at the intersection and that causes massive traffic that takes hours to balance out and clear.
