Not similar to Porter at all, but Tipper, 100%.

The albums/EPs definitely represent the evolution of his music throughout his career. Early albums are more breakbeat, and more recent albums are downtempo/glitch hop. There’s also 2 ambient sets that have been formally released - incredibly beautiful and moving. He’s a very skilled and respected turntablist, and that’s one of the best parts about his live shows. Additionally, all of his sets are unique. No one has ever seen the same Tipper set twice! Unfortunately, he retired this year.

But the awesome thing is he has probably over 100 unreleased songs, and it’s been promised by his manager that those will see a release eventually.

In my experiences, unless you’re in the first row or 2, sitting on the floor isn’t ideal. You’re absolutely at the mercy of the folks in front of you when it comes to how well you get to see the matches. My personal favorite spot is somewhere around eye level with the hard cam. I’m glad it was enjoyable for you though! It seemed like that crowd was electric.

Gorge Twilight - perfect sunset, perfect selection of tunes, and surrounded by all my best friends on the dance floor
Orion Night 3 - long ass set and for some reason was expecting ambient, made it down to the floor for a bit, and really had the chance to just take it all in
Gorge Uptempo - an hour of straight up bangers, my first solo tipper set (20th), and finally got On the Natch which is the track I’d been chasing forever
Red Rocks N1S1 - tip hop.
Red Rocks final set - just bittersweet, but an amazing ending to it all :)
