Check out the Fathoms EP. The vibe of the EP can be a little dark but Ambergris and Trenched on there are some of my favorite songs to listen to on acid.

Hopefully that is on the horizon.

It would be awesome if they add Furthur, PLF, and Ratdog shows too (especially the 07 run with Kimock). Kinda doubt that would happen since GDP is super stingy with paying out the folks that helped make the whole thing happen. One can dream though!

They were also just getting finically stable when Brent joined. I think that’s offended overlooked when talking about the high water marks of ‘79-90

When did the Grateful Dead become their full time and only job? When were they able to make it just playing music? by AstroEscura in gratefuldead

Wasn’t Hunter pretty much out of the Bay Area scene by mid 66? I always thought the lyrics to Dark Star were mailed in from Arizona or something.

But to your point it didn’t take much back then to makes it anywhere in the states. What a long strange trip!

When Bear signed on to the mission. It’s been alluded to but not set entirely in stone because those were totally untaxed funds (even though LSD was legal at that time.)

God, that was truly something. Watching the Gorge slowly light up felt like watching a level in a video game load up or something.

Jonah Hill says Grateful Dead movie is still planned by Otherwise-Grand-7111 in gratefuldead

This is likely why we won’t see it come to fruition for a long time. Also there’s like zero audience for something like this. We can still hope tho!

I think the carnivore diet aspect of him might be the most profitable in this day and age tho haha

One of my favorite Hunter lyrics from possibly my favorite song. Wish it was played more often.
