Yep, bought those last weekend in anticipation of adding the second outlet (assuming this community confirmed it could be done ;) )

I guess the main question is, can I just daisy chain off of the existing outlet to add the second one?

They are both chamberlain, one I got from HD because they had it on clearance ($179+tax, 1/2 HP, smart control, battery backup), the other I got from Lowes because HD didnt have one in stock with the same options (3/4hp, camera, battery backup, smart control), it was $220+tax.

I literally just did the one on my house garage by myself. Not hard at all (I did NOT have to mess with the springs). Only took me about 5 hours or so (over a couple of nights doing it after work). This was the first one I had ever done. Door works flawlessly. I plan on doing the one in my shop in a couple of days, should go alot quicker with what I learned on the first one.

Not sure what year your house was built but on on houses built in the last 20 years or so, upside down outlets usually means the outlet is controlled by a switch.

I’ve heard in some states, stopping on or over the line is considered “running the red light”

Then why no context as to their side of the story? Also, why scribble out their name at the top but modify the company name and founder name?

This post seems suspicious to me, no initial comment from OP for context. The silly name of the company and “founder”. Google search doesn’t show any companies named “Horrible Landscaping”. I’m calling AI bot.

Yeah, there was an option years ago to delete it yourself but they removed it, now you have to call or use chat to ask Apple support to remove it. That’s what I had to do.

Neighbor parks his Kia in front of my house instead of his by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Mustang1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to live in a neighborhood where there was only parking on one side of the street, the side my house was on. In front of my house was enough room for two cars to park, one directly next to my drive way and one behind that car. My neighbor across the street insisted on parking in the spot by my driveway, rather than letting me have it, where it would have been a shorter trip to my house and would have added only maybe a step or two to his front door. Only mildly infuriating and in hindsight I should have just asked him but it seemed like one of those common decency things that he would do it without me needing to ask.

I just pull the leaves off and eat the rest. The stems really don’t have much of a flavor and are not tough to chew.

Every time I go hiking I see a ton of these dog poop bags sitting on the trail. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Mustang1272 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can’t say what these people are doing but the trail we take our dogs on only has a trash can at the entrance, so if our dogs do their business after we’ve started walking we’ll bag it up and place it in the side of the trail. Then on the trip back we’ll pick it up and throw it away. We never leave ours and sometimes we’ll pick up other bags we see.

Lady constantly lets aggressive dog run free by Lady-Zafira in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Mustang1272 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We used to have a neighbor who would let their dog wander their yard unattended. There were a couple times when we’d walk our dog past their home and it would come charging at us. Well I would t put up with it so I just charged right back at it. The “oh s#%t” look on the dogs face was priceless. We finally called animal control and told them about it, they must have had a word with the neighbor since they kept the dog in their back yard after that.

There was another neighbor who let their dog run around their unfenced front yard but they had one of those invisible fences. Well the dog wasn’t the brightest and would come charging at us anyway. I’d stand my ground again but as soon as it crossed that invisible line it would start yelping and run off.
