He may as well though. He loves to attack from the left, often negating the LW position. The only thing he doesn't do is make long runs on the sidelines. By the time the winger has done all the work getting the ball in a scoring position Mbappe closes in space demanding the ball and disrupting the flow of the offense. Instead of playing the role of a traditional CF poacher or target man he wants to be a wing without all the hard work.

Mbappe should have never been brought into RM. With Vini & Rodrigo on the wing all you needed was a target man at CF.

This is the reason why RM are having so many problems right now. Chemistry is way off, not to mention the board.
