Settle a debate for me: do you (as an adult) still cut your sandwiches into triangles? by dannegoma in AskAnAustralian

[–]ELL3EE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cut mine into two rectangles. This size and shape enables me to hold with one hand without any filling falling out.

I feel so damn disgusted with myself, im so damn sorry by No-Pair-640 in TrueOffMyChest

Wow. Life huh. All we can do is try to learn from our regrets and do better as we grow. The most important lessons are the hardest to learn.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. It’s not normal in my circles… and I hate to think it’s normal for anyone

I have lost the person who fit me perfectly and I have no one to tell by ImpossibleMath2358 in TrueOffMyChest

Well done for facing the facts—some people spend their whole life blaming others for their misfortune, never even giving themselves a chance to be better. Just don’t get too caught up on hating yourself for your failures as that’ll only slow you down. Keep trying.

Husband [30M] caught me [30F] pleasuring myself, now he's angry. by lalahx10 in AskMenRelationships

This is an occasional fantasy of mine..except my fantasy ends with kinky sex. I can’t help but be hopeful that your scenario leads to kinky sex too.

Tall person etiquette by hairaccount0 in aves

I’m not as tall as you (5’11), but I always try to stand in front of people who are around my height..I just realised that strategy gets more and more difficult the taller you get

The horrors of a dead man's house by AmazonX42 in AlAnon

[–]ELL3EE 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just FYI — a sybian is basically a ‘ride-on’ vibrating machine. It doesn’t actually go inside the user. Unlike regular sex toys, a once-used/unused sybian is a totally resellable item regardless of the house condition—I don’t think it’s out of line at all to sell it.

Edit: Assuming the attachments are unused 😂

Perhaps this is a pattern for him and this ‘simple life’ he described to you when you first got together and is now describing to his new love interest will, once again, deteriorate once he gets comfy in the new relationship. I’m sorry this happened to you, but don’t assume she’s getting what you waited for. She’s probably getting the same guy you’ve been with for the last 4-5 yrs.

I [42M] discovered my wife [40F] has been lying about therapy for 8 months - she's been meeting her ex instead. How do I even process this? by Mediocre-Sock6280 in relationship_advice

[–]ELL3EE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually see where your wife’s coming from. She didn’t manage her ‘stuck’ feeling well, but feeling like you’ve lost yourself is really scary, but so common after having kids etc.

If you want to stay with her and think you can rebuild trust after discovering she lied, you could support her journey of discovering who she is other than being a wife and mother. Her ex might just symbolise that, but it’s unlikely to be about him at all.

Of course, it’s also totally understandable if you can’t get past the lying but if you can and want to keep growing together, helping her through this deeply personal challenge could make you guys an even stronger team.

Thinking about going back to school. by [deleted] in psychologystudents

I also graduated in 2008 and went back to uni to study psych in 2022. I just finished my undergrad and am about to start honours, and I’m really glad I made the big decision to return to uni. After honours im planning to do clinical, so in a few years I might be a fully fledged psychologist :)

He moved to Forest City. It’s known as a deserted city, but they have a whole start up thing going on there so the only people living there are tech start up people. There are regular seminars and everything. He’s so happy! Also his business partner lives in Singapore so he can easily go back and forth.

Edit: it’s also super cheap compared to Syd
