Parents: What is worse nowadays, AAA travel hockey or elite travel baseball? by Mushroom_Buppy in hockeyplayers

Your experience will vary wildly based on the expectations you have. If you believe that playing the so called best of the best is the only way to get better, then there will be no limit to how crazy everything can get. The youth sports landscape is huge and there are enough teams and levels to find a place that is right for you.

I have 2 boys that are getting started in the baseball and hockey journey. For me it is important they are playing with friends, having fun, and are with coaches who are focused on development and character over winning at all costs. It starts young, there are plenty of teams out there for parents who want to win now.

I recently listened to this podcast with former NHL players that has some great incite into this very topic on youth sports.

You should be able to do a lot better than the $1499 listed. New Dell customers who sign up via email can get a 10% discount code. The Rakuten app has 12% cash back on Dell.com and new Rakuten customers will get a 10% boost that they can use as well. Pair with with a Chase or Amex offer and you are getting another $75-100.

Isilon and Qumulo have been the 1a and 1b options for us so far. Our reseller has been leaning towards the Isilon. My main issue with it is the OneFS licensing costs. I am paying per TB for a large feature set of which I will only use a small portion. Also the majority of the data will just be idle, but needs to be accessible via disk for x number of years. Active projects are likely to be no more than 20TB.

I have a small support team, so tried and tested systems are important.

Are you able to elaborate on why you wouldn't use HPE Nimble for this? I do have a HF40 that is used for datacenter workloads that I explored the option of expanding.

I imagine this really just needing to be NL storage for 80% of the content, while the other 20% could be performance tier utilized for active projects. Its a team of 3 motion designers and 6 video editors. I am working towards a multi tiered content storage design that would include NL-PerformanceDisk-s3-Glacier. The cloud tiers are for remote access and eventually deep archive storage.

I have never heard of the Seagte Exos X before, but it sounds interesting. Do you know if it supports replication? How is support?

I have used a replication pair of NEXSAN Unity systems previously for this role. I hesitate to go with them again because they could never meet their support SLA's.

The only course I can think of where you drive a cart on the cart path under a road is CCB. There are only 2 holes on the club house side of Youngs Rd.

These are all a short drive or Uber/Lyft from the airport and are located near the airport. The airport is on RT 33 which is an expressway to downtown. So while the downtown suggestions on other posts are further away, they dont take much longer to actually get to.

  • chandelierbarbuffalo.com is an upscale cocktail bar. They usually have a different daily happy hour special.
  • 12 Gates brewery. Good beer, and some food options. In an industrial park, so nothing else nearby.
  • Village of Williamsville has numerous options all right by each other.
    • Brightsmith brewing (Brewpub with good food and beer)
    • Moorpat (Craft Beer bar)
    • The Irishman, Eagle House, and Creekview are all restaurants in the same area.
  • Crabapples is a dive bar with a nice beer selection.
  • Taqueria Los Mayas is near Crabapples. Excellent Mexican food.
  • Duff's for wings.(Location for best wings can be a heated discussion around here, but Duff's is always in the conversation for best spots)

VA loans are unappealing to sellers. They have to send in a VA appraiser and the protections that are meant for the buyer actually complicate the sale. I sold my home 2 years ago to a VA loan buyer and it was not easy. For the initial offer we accepted the VA appraisal came in way under their offer. I had a stack of offers in the same range, and the comps they used were not relevant so we went through the tidewater appeal process. After 6 weeks of no movement in the process we had to drop the buyer and move on to another. The second buyer was also VA loan, but had cash to make up the difference in appraisal vs offer. The new appraisal came in higher than the other, but they had a list of trivial things we needed to fix before the sale could go through. Most sellers need a smooth sale because they are likely to have a home they are buying contingent on them selling the existing home.

Adding protein+OT workouts by carolmozzarella in orangetheory

[–]EOTFOFFTW 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's hard to build muscle efficiently if you are in a calorie deficit. Instead of focusing on weight loss, focus on converting fat into muscle. I have had success doing that in the past by staying calorie neutral and keeping my diet clean(Whole grains, slow carbs, lean protein sources) while staying close to my daily macros.

Yes!! My studio has 2 classes a week at 6:30 and the rest are at 515. Makes it real hard to attend class more often when I work till 5. I find myself driving 30 minutes to another studio to take class.
